Coughing when i talk

Common Questions and Answers about Coughing when i talk

Not yet i go the 19th, i drink orange juice everyday, before i became pregnant i took medicine for it but it never helped, and after i knew i was pregnant i stopped.
I was given Cipro for 2 weeks. It seems to have improved, but still WHEN I laugh or TALK alot, I start with the same deep, chesty COUGH , gets out of control, I lose my breathe. I have never been diagnosed with allergies or asthma. I am 43, I have endometriosis, and an auto immune disease, they think fibromyalgia. this COUGHing is new. Why? This discussion is related to feeling like I have to COUGH WHEN I laugh or exhale deeply.
WHEN i start to COUGH i COUGH till im able to stop COUGHing. Sometimes WHEN i COUGH my head starts to hurt real bad. im tired of COUGHing all the time wondering if anyone may know what may be wrong with me? Im trying to get in to see a dr but it will b a few days or i go to the hospital.
Do u take the beneadryl at night or WHEN have u found best time to take it Thnks bbj
WHENever I laugh I choke and COUGH repeatedly. Its irritating as I can't TALK thereafter without choking and then COUGHing. This happens to be anytime of the day. Tasting salt, soda or juices triggers it sometimes and makes it worse if I had a genuine COUGH before. Whats wrong with me?
you should TALK to a doctor about the possibility of ventolin or other medication. Although the best would be to avoid the area while the work is going on. Hope you feel better soon!
Also to add, I find WHEN I drink afew alcoholic beverages.....I don't think about COUGHing and I relax....this is not something I want to rely on!
It only lasts for a few seconds, but it's scary and embarassing. I am a businessman and often WHEN I TALK on the phone I get to COUGHing and have to hand the phone to someone else. Each year that passes, the COUGH gets worse. The tests show that the most normal thing about me is my lungs. It seems that sinus drainage or food or saliva sometimes goes down into my bronchial area WHEN there is no logical reason for it.
Yeah you probably did it from the COUGHing. If youre concerned though call your dr for sure or just TALK to your dr WHEN you go in.
WHEN i COUGH my upper back is aching and also WHEN i take a deep breath. i don't COUGH really hard, i only COUGH WHEN i take deep breath and that also my upper back ache. does my back pain is related with the COUGHing? do i need to go to my doctor already? my back pain is getting worst especially WHEN i try to lift heavy things. does this mean there's something wrong with my lungs? do i need to have an x-ray? what should i do in order to make the pain away? pls. help.
for several months, it seems WHEN I eat, especially breakfast, if I TALK after I swallow, I start COUGHing as if I am choking. it seems a small particle of food gets inhaled? is this possible, and why does it get keep happening, especially after I swallow completely?
Idk what it is, but WHEN I sleep I wake up COUGHing soo many times and so quick that I have to throw up. It is like there is a leak in the back of my throat and WHEN it starts dripping I can not TALK or even quit COUGHing, I will COUGH probably like 60 times in a matter of 10 minutes before it decides to leave, this happens every night. :( I am affraid to mix robitussin with vicodin. The pharmacist said that all it will do together (meaning the rob and vicodin) is make me more tired.
Mostly you are asleep, COUGHing wakes you up, you sit up, you start COUGHing, COUGHing, COUGHing, then suddenly it feels as if your windpipe closes and you breathe, TALK, swallow, anything!! This lasts up to 30-35 seconds (which seems like forever). It is very frightening! Eventually you can draw in small breaths and the episode subsides...... Has anyone heard of this? Please, please answer me. I've been looking for the people who wrote in before.
BUT two weeks after I have stopped taking the prednisone I start COUGHing again. Over the last two weeks I have had COUGHing fits which are uncontrollable and at the same time I am sneezing and my eyes are watering. This can happen anywhere and on one occasion I tried to ring my husband to bring me a ventolin inhaler but I could barely speak to TALK to him - he got the idea of what I was saying and came immediately to my work. This was the first time I have had fits like this.
I get them often and WHEN i have one i COUGH like you say you are doing. You might need to call the ER and ask for the dr on call for your dr. See if they can recommend anything for you.
it is a million times worse WHEN she is sick with a cold.. but this COUGHing is WHEN she has no cold too.. and again worse at is constantly worsening.. we have not had a chest x-ray--but a sinus scan WHEN she was 2-- i am at a loss as what to do and what is going on!!!!!! so tired.. we are all so tired!

I'm a healthy male who seldom COUGHs unless I'm on the phone. WHEN I try to TALK, I almost always have a dry COUGH every 30 seconds or so. It's really strange. Does anyone else have a similar problem?
) We'll see tonight if I can sleep...probably not. Ugh! I wish it was the 24th...that's WHEN I can get a refill! I feel the same way, I don't ever see myself off of them...but I need to be.
, and the results were inconclusive as far as if i have asthma because i dont have any wheezing (my first time taking a pft the results were pretty mediocre) Im still thinking I have a little component of something (reactive to maybe the allergies) and would like some insight from you. Im experiencing a hard time breathing pretty much WHEN I TALK and WHEN I exercise. WHEN I TALK I cant help to COUGH after only speaking a 5 word sentence.

I am going to have a pulmonary something test next week to see if it might be asthma.
It is not as bad WHEN I am resting in warm conditions but WHEN I am at work in the cold weather it gets really bad.
I have also had pain in my chest WHEN I'm COUGHing. I have tried so many times to get in to see my doctor, but my health care plan is terrible and they can never see me until months later. I need this taken care of now or very soon. I feel like its getting harder and harder to breath everyday. I dont have asthma that I know of. My mother does, so I might. Im not sure. Any ideas or advice? home remedies? please help? =( Thank you.
My back and ribs are sore and my lower left ribs in the back seem to be spasming. WHEN I TALK I star COUGHing. I go to work and people are sure I have something contagious. Pertussis cam back negative, sinus scopenotheing significant. I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea but have not been able to use CPAP since this all started. I am scheduled for pulmonary in about 5 weeks but until then I ammiserable. Now still stuffed up but COUGH has gotten worse can't sleep at night as WHEN I lay down I am choking from my COUGH and WHEN awake COUGH will not stop once i start, but it is making me gag and get sick every time i am COUGHing.
I seem to COUGH WHEN I speak. It has been occurring only in the recent 4-5 months. I do not COUGH WHEN I am not speaking. What could be the cause and any quick remedies. I am non-smoker and non-alcoholic. Also, which kind of doctor should I be visiting to get a quick check on this? Should it be a regular doctor like a family physician or should it an ENT or someone else. Please advise.
I have recently acquired an annoying visual disturbance that is permanent, blurring or double vision, in right eye, a few years ago I started having stabbing eye pain. Now WHEN I COUGH or slightly strain, such as roll over in bed at night, I have a vision of an eclipse type of vision. During the day it’s there as well but it’s dark in shade. In the dark this eye always has a darker shade to it.
I can't TALK without COUGHing and am peeing all over myself. I have to wear diapers 24/7. I have not insurance and no job so I can't go to all the specialist that can help me. I've already been to my Dr. and it's starting out just like all of the other people reporting on this forum.
