I started to prop myself up and the sore throats stopped, but the cough is still there. The cough sounds like a bark when I sit up, but when I sit back in a chair or <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lay down, now the cough sounds like a chest infectibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on, this chest/throat infectibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on sound stops if I sit up. There are many causes for a chrbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onic cough (more then 3 mbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onths). The strange part is the my nose is running during the day when I am active and busy but as sobackground-color: #dae8f4'>on as I <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lay down my nose dries up which stops the coughing. These kids cough at night because when they <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lay down their chest/lungs are effected by gravity differently than when they are up and about. If my doctor thought allergies and sinus was NOTHING, I would be looking for a new doctor. Allergy kids have many issues.
It began in 1976 and re occurs every 5 to 6 years. I get a sore throat (not tbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onsils but when you swallow) I now go straight background-color: #dae8f4'>on antibiotics and use Bricanyl inhaler although it doesnt seem to have much effect except to cause alot of mucus coughed up from the lungs. It causes me to have spasm coughing and if I cannot cbackground-color: #dae8f4'>ontrol this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out.
He would cough, then swallow the mucus until he would regurgitate it in mass. It was terrible and I cbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onsidered putting him down. He was drowning in mucus. Again out of desperatibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on, I put him back background-color: #dae8f4'>on Prednisbackground-color: #dae8f4'>one, 5mg twice a day and his cough returned to a dry hacking, with nearly every breath, but brief periods of calm. I dbackground-color: #dae8f4'>on't want to cough up stuff everywhere I go; I can't even sleep comfortably because I can't <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lay down lbackground-color: #dae8f4'>ong enough to not feel like coughing something up. Would nasal sprays help? Allergy medicatibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on? Decbackground-color: #dae8f4'>ongestants, gargling salt water, etc? If you know a remedy that works please tell me. I dbackground-color: #dae8f4'>on't care if I have to drink vinegar straight or run five miles everyday; if there's anything I can do to end this problem for good I'll do it.
I used to cry and be debilitated from the pain. All I could do was <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lay down. It isn't fibromyalgia. I do not meet the criteria. It doesn't hurt to touch anywhere. I cannot think of any other symptoms, but, when I write this, I think to myself, I am background-color: #dae8f4'>one tough old biddy for putting up with all of this. I still pbackground-color: #dae8f4'>lay background-color: #dae8f4'>on the floor with my grandkids. These pain attacks take less than 5 minutes to become fully locked and loaded. I know it the secbackground-color: #dae8f4'>ond it begins and have gotten quite used to it.
