It is not real painful but uncomfortable. Can you give me an idea of what could be going on. My doctor was testing my for TIA? Lupus? and other things.
It began in 1976 and re occurs every 5 to 6 years. I get a sore throat (not tonsils but when you swallow) I now go straight on antibiotics and use Bricanyl inhaler although it doesnt seem to have much effect except to cause alot of mucus coughed up from the lungs. It causes me to have spasm coughing and if I cannot control this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out.

Gets scary at times but they go away. Hate the feeling! I can't just stop bending over or any of the other triggers the PVCs start from. The PVCs wake me up or happen just out of the clear blue. If I get into water up to my neck the PVCs usually act up. when I used to ride a motorcycle, at times, the pressure of the wind against me sometimes would cause PVCs. The intensity of some are noticable and some are very hard.
Hi, I have had appointments with excellent Drs over the past 8 years and my medical state has improved in every area except this head pain I am very interested in knowing the cause of the severe head pain that I experience upon bending down, jumping, and running. This pain feels like pressure and tightness that is extreme enough to be severely painful.
This is especially bad when lying down, making sleep very difficult! Elevated beds or sitting up provides little help. It is also bad when bending over or sitting. After extensive testing over many years Doctors say it is caused by allergies or reflux. I have taken every immaginable drug to dry it up and every thing to prevent reflux but nothing not even slightly helps. At one point I tookmany shots for allergies. Nothing helps.
The fact that it bothers you more when bending over suggest that you may have a hiatal hernia. After you eat does your food initially go down and then you experience the gagging or does it feel as if the food is getting stuck on the way down. If this is the case, you may have a narrowing of the esophagus. The important thing to do is see your doctor and have an upper GI, Endoscopy, PH test, Motility test to see what is causing your problems.

Now trying to get get back on track since I have not been feeling goodfor about the last 3 weeks....Here is the deal... Shortness of breath quite often even bending down sometimes Coughing for about 2 weeks, sometimes so har I almost pass out Blood pressure has been in the 160/180 over 96-104 range Get swollen feeling in the chest once in awhile where I feel like I am shot of breath and chest is full of something, fluids.....
I was a little skeptical about the sinus infection diagnosis since I have been having the headaches for 2 years, but the doctor said that I probably have 2 different issues, one being the sinus issue and then some people just have what is called exertional headaches with no known cause. A person can have severe pain upon sneezing, coughing, bending over, etc. As long as the MRI/MRA is clear then there really isn't an explanation for it.
The headache could be due to sinus headache ( associated with bending over) or exertion headache that may occur with both passive or active exertions including changes of position, coughing, bowel movement and even exercise. If this persists, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor or be referred to a neurologist for proper evaluation. Additional diagnostic tests may also be done including imaging studies. Take care and do keep us posted.
I'm posting this for my husband (40, 277, in good physical condition previously, with physically demanding job), who has been having medical issues for a year now. It began with waking up in the morning with pressure in his lower back that was remedied by going to the bathroom. bending, twisting, picking up things, etc. never bothered him, which seemed to indicate it's not a back problem. then it moved on to constipation, & when he could go his stool was flattened.

I am a 22 year old normally fit male who has been experiencing neurological symptoms for over a year now. Despite these neurological symptoms that are persistent i have had no diagnosis. My symptoms started with chest pain on the left side of my body. This progressed to having pains all over my body which were of a sharp nature and unbearable. These pains would strike with no warning. As well as this i had continuous saliva with yellow phlegm and constantly coughing from my chest.
She also has had various other symptoms over time, not sure when they came along. Numbness/tingling in extremities, balance/coordination issues, tinnitus, severe headaches, memory/concentration issues, dizziness(does this go along with balance?) depression, fatigue and since Feb, and I don't understand this one but depersonalization/dissociactive disorder(self-diagnosed). She has gone to her pcp and he would do this or that but never anything I deemed aggressive.
I experience severe pain and numbness in my arms (especially my elbows) and hands when sleeping. Sleeping is difficult as a result. I can sleep as little as 15 minutes before the pain wakes me or sometimes a couple of hours... (this is when the pain is the worst). I usually just change positions and feel relief after a minute or two allowing me to return to sleep. This happens repeatedly all night... every night. This has been happening for several years. I am 44 yr.
bending over to do something, working out, laughing, singing). I have had to stop myself fr ... [More] om laughing because the pressure behind my head gets so tight. If i continue to do the strenuous activity after i feel pressure, it evolves into a full blown migraine. over the past few months it has affected my jaw and ears. I now in addition to the headaches and tightness in my head have a fatigued jaw and pressure in my ears as well.
