Seems like the only thing that helps this cough is codeine medicine or like percocet pain medicine...in which both is hard to get doctor to give prescription for. Can you help with any suggestions on home remedies that i could try? Please help!

This typically supsides and I am left with a scrathcy voice coughing up these almost solid like flem balls. My voice usually gets better after I get one of these out but it doesn't last long. The doctor prescribes me antibiotics of some sort and this usually clears it up. I am concerned why I seem to be getting this more frequently and not sure if there could be some other underlying cause. Any advice would be appreciated.

A week ago I was sick for the whole week with the flu. I had all the normal flu symptoms and was given notuss to try and control the violent cough I had. I had fever, headache, chills, aches, and would wake up during the night in coughing fits. I haven't had a fever in over a week and a half but I still have the hacking violent cough. I thought nothing of it until last night when I had a coughing fit and coughed up what appeared (and tasted like) blood.
I had protected sex with a girl who I barely knew. I used a condom but befor I put it on I kinda rubbed her "you know what" with my fingers. I had a cut on my finger from reaching into my bag and cutting it on a disposable razor. It was not bleeding but had not healed and I am worried because I may got fluid in cut. It was almost a month ago and I have stiff knees and my nose is stuffed up really bad. I am coughing up green "gunk".

it sounds like tar build up. I get that in my lungs too. I know its gross, but you're better off coughing it up than keeping it in there.
I have had numerous blood tests and recently had a CT Chest scan which showed nothing, though I am still coughing up blood (its not huge amounts - though when I cough I bring up flem along with blood).
I also get headaches which occasionally turn into migraines, Tired/lethargic.
I am a smoker.

I just had my son on the 6th. And I'm very worried because everyone in my home has been developing this 24hr flu (puking, diarrhea). But it only lasts a day. I am now developing some sort of sickness but its not like there's. The insides of my hips hurt and I do feel like puking but nothing ever comes out and I'm coughing up flem but my sickness has now lasted 2days.
Ok i had a sore throat on july 5th and becuse of fire works there were smoke in the air a hughe fire like 50 feet away and im thinking oh **** what if its seroconversion but i had sore throat and coughing with alot of flem sore throat went away like i think the first week flem went away aas well as coghuing after the 2 or 3 week is it normal to get this after huly 4th plese help

i also get these breatheing attacks where i lose my breath n it feels like someone is holding my throat shut. i ALSO get the feeling of someone is sitting on my chest. Coughing is almost equivalent to sneezing in a since. When you sneeze you miss a part of your life in milliseconds. Coughing could be looked at in the same way depending on the severity of it. Is it like a dry cough I take it? Or one with Flem? Send a response I may be able to help or at
least look into it.
I'm 20 weeks and I just threw up and at the same time cough really hard. I so scared now that I probably think i hurt him...you know when you start coughing so hard that than you feel throwing up. It hurt my stomach so much like in the bottom. Has anyone ever happen to them. Or someone you know.
We have taken meds and puffers nothing is working. I have been coughing then leads to vomiting either flem or froth, and gasping for a minute or so out load to replace hair in my lungs.It is the most horrible thing... I get headaches and feel very tired. But told that we are to just relax and takes time :( Well to take time it's been over a month that we have been so sick!!!

Doc found 2 nodules 4mm in size each i can't breathe good always coughing. Cough up black dark flem daily. On nebuluzer treatments. Doc says Bottom of both my lungs is scar tissue Wat does that mean?
