Now my question. I've been expelling a white frothy substance from my lungs quite constantly from day one since I quit. However, today i'am an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>coughan>ing up something else. Its encased in the phlegm very small pebble like balls that are dark in color. a lot of it seems to be coming up. Is this a sign of COPD or something worse?

The doctor said his chest was clear and it was all up top but really worried still as he is so upset by all this.

Just over <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>a</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>month</span> ago I got <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>a</span> series of sore throats, they’d get better then another would start after a couple of days. Whether or not I got a sore throat seemed to depend on if I lay flat on my back. I started to prop myself up and the sore throats stopped, but the an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>coughan> is still there.

Once I added wheat back into my diet. I noticed that the phlegm was coming back. I also noticed that my knees and ankles began to hurt in the morning again. He said he didn't think it was reflux due to no heart burn and sleeping upright had no change.

I can't pinpoint the cause of it. it's not a dairy thing, because it happens with nondairy items aKa a turkey sandwich (no cheese) from Panera. I do notice with big spicy meals it also happens.
