Why do I keep coughing up mucus only in the morning? I don't have a stuffy nose either, just this problem in the morning. What is wrong with me?
Is it possible that asthma sytmptoms of coughing, and tighteness in chest and mucus can be caused by advanced invasion of roundworms in the lungs? I have had very unproductive coughing and some times I get a clump of rather dry mucus that tooks like spagetti or worms. I also have fatigue and a feeling of fullness all of the time.

green and yellow flem should not be coming up from allergy unless it is stomach acid. Usually allergy is clear mucus. I'm not a doctor but I wonder if it is a bacteria infection. Sorry I don't know the correct answer. Maybe the doctors are correct too. I just personally haven't heard of colored mucus from allergy. Allergy can cause mucus that can lead to bacteria infection too. See another doctor.
Hi all! I'm currently 6 weeks 5 days and oh man... The pleasure of morning sickness! Other than the nausea and vomiting, I'm also coughing a lot and the phlegm is making my chest and nose super congested. I've read that you'll have more mucus build up during pregnancy, so is it normal to feel this congested during the first trimester? Any advise on how to make the congestion better?
Almost 3 weeks ago I thought I had a bad cold that lasted about 5 days, then it turned into a pesty mucus cough so I bought simple linctus which didnt help. After a further 5 days I went to the doctor because I thought I might have had an infection but I got the all clear and doctor told me to just eat chicken soup... I don't like soup. 10 days on and I'm still coughing mucus and my nose is still a little runny.
Nine months after recovering from terrible acute bronchitis, I am still coughing up small blobs of thick sticky, pale yellow mucus all day. My allergist says my asthma is under control, my sinuses are more or less clear, and I recently went to the cardiologist for a full workup. All that's left is GERD, but I'm unsure how to proceed because I hardly have any other symptoms.
Second day I started to get a sore throat and started coughing really hard with a lot of dark green mucus coming out of my coughs. My nose usually stayed runny all day but usually at night when I'd go to sleep it wouldn't run. But I started coughing and sometimes there's blood in the mucus when I cough up, little amounts in the mucus. My temperature was 99.8, but recently around after day 5 my soar throat went away.
So since yesterday morning I have lost a bit of my mucus plug. And some more this morning. I have 5 days left until my due date. Some contractions here and there. They are really light. I also been coughing I think that's what is making me loose my mucus. Has anyone else gone through this and how long did it take to go into labor.
For the past 4 years I have been coughing up clear jelly like Mucus Balls. I have been a smoker for 8 years, and I have Asthma. I wake up in the morning and in the middle of the night coughing up a lot of the little mucus balls. It happens a little bit through out the day. Sometimes they are balls and sometimes they are like a hair, but made of mucus. I am very scared and do not have health insurance. I am 25, and thought I was pretty healthy. Please someone, HELP!
For last 1 1/2 weeks my chest has a pain in the center. Notice in the morning after laying down and when I swallow I feel pain. I had a cold/flu approx. 6 weeks ago and was able to function after about 2 days. However, I have had a persistent cough that never seem to go away. Its not all the time once I am up in the morning it eleveates for the most part but annoying. I have recently started on ibuprophen and it helps a little. I do not feel like I have congestion.

I am coughing up mucus, although it is all clear (and has been throughout the entire cold). It just concerns me that the cough is hanging around for so long. Okay a little background. 39+4 had my membranes swept 2 days ago. Woke up this morning to a huge amount of mucus. Since then I've been weak, nauseous, dizzy, and shaking. I've also been having shortness of breath and coughing. Could this be a normal almost labor thing or does it sound more like I'm getting sick?
Av been having throat irritation which makes me cough. sometimes it has mucus in the morning which is clear.
