For the past 4 years I have been coughing up clear jelly like mucus balls. I have been a smoker for 8 years, and I have Asthma. I wake up in the morning and in the middle of the night coughing up a lot of the little mucus balls. It happens a little bit through out the day. Sometimes they are balls and sometimes they are like a hair, but made of mucus. I am very scared and do not have health insurance. I am 25, and thought I was pretty healthy. Please someone, HELP!
Is it possible that asthma sytmptoms of coughing, and tighteness in chest and mucus can be caused by advanced invasion of roundworms in the lungs? I have had very unproductive coughing and some times I get a clump of rather dry mucus that tooks like spagetti or worms. I also have fatigue and a feeling of fullness all of the time.
But,suddenly, without warning,I am coughing, badly,on just drinking water, sore throat, coughing up solid little jelly balls, like I have bronchitus. But it is the darn stuff from my sinus, draining into my throat,(sore throat)and into my bronchial area,I bet!! From hot weather,I got bronchitus? From the allergies from the stuck draining out of my sinus? Yoicks!!! I am so upset,I am going tomorrow morning to emergency,as I do not want to get bronchitus again.

My daughter has been breathing out of her mouth for the last 6 days. No fever, or runny nose or coughing. She has a lot of white mucus on her throat. They ruled out strep and think it is a vius. But since she hasn't had a fever I was wondering if it could be allergy related. Can allergies cause white mucus on the throat? And can allergies show up as a virus in the blood?

For a really long time now (months) I have been randomly coughing up hard chunks of what looks like mucus. The back of my throat will start itching and if I try and scratch it I end up scratching off more of the hard mucus. I also couch it up sometimes. It is coming from the part of my throat that is bubbly on both sides, I think they might be my glads, I have tried to identify them using a diagram but Im not sure what they are. Is this something I need to be very concerned about?

Seems like lately I'm always swallowing a lot or trying to clear what I think is just mucus from there. I did just get over being sick with a head cold and possible strep throat. The Dr. put me on Cephalexin for the sore throat and it's been a week now on the meds and although my sore throat is gone I still get that lump feeling. I feel no lumps on the outside of my neck and eating/drinking/taking meds is not affected. Voice is fine too.
But about 6 days after the incident I got a bad sore throat and coughing for about a week. About 10 days after the incident I had night sweats around my shoulders and neck. My lymph nodes are swollen on one side if my neck. I think I feel some sore places in my mouth like ulcers. I've had night sweats for about 5 nights. I've been very worried. Is it likely I have hiv?
fever, pus on tonsils (exudate), tender lymph nodes in front of your neck (anterior cervical lymphadenopathy), and lack of cough (no coughing). If so, treat with antibiotics that are more narrow-spectrum such as penicillin since there's virtually no resistance to penicillin by strep in the community. If less than 3 of 4 of these signs are positive, then wait for your strep test or throat culture to show a bacterial infection before taking antibiotics.
Blowjob nov 18 - put soap in urethra causes irritation that went away after some time - clap and gon test came back negative - cough that makes back feel bruised from excessive coughing and mucus in the morning then gone til following morning - tingling inside dick and in middle of urethra - no genital rashes or anything I can see as well as examined by health care worker and she saw nothing but rashes on arms and legs - I had night sweats for 1 or 2 nights whe
For infections of the lower sinuses, I recommend the Neilmed Sinus Rinse--available at most pharmacies--as it requires less effort and risk. The Flip-Turn Sinus Flush (by friggy) removes infected mucus from every part of your sinuses, which Mayo Clinic research shows is the cure for sinusitis, rather than treating sinus tissue with antibiotics. Regular saline irrigation does not work in the upper sinuses, because of gravity, but the Sinus Flush defeats gravity.
results came bac negative, she also checked me visually and i showed her the bump and she said that it dosent look like herpes because it's just a bump and hasnt scabbed or healed and dosent hurt, but i developed more symptoms i had a cough that lasted about 5 days, a cough tht felt like i was sick (coughing hard enough i can force mucus out of my throat), but i didn't get a fever after the results i thought i was in the clear.
and in my lower breath path or deep in my throat, I have thickened mucus and gel like tiny balls and hard to get them out. I have tried different things to reduce the mucus secreation. However none of them has been proven effective or without side effect. Lately I started to us SinusWars2. I noticed that my muscus has been getting less and my nostrils are getting clearer. One noticable change is I have much less crust in my middle nostrils where I used to reach to get crust out.
In July of 2004 I got my tonsils removed after seeing an ear nose ant throat specialist. You see, I was coughing up those white, stinky balls about three times a week. They would get stuck in the back of my throat, and made my breath smell so bad. I told my dentist about it while I was getting my routine cleaning, and she referred me to the ear nose and throat speacialist. He told me that since I was coughing them up so much, it was time to get my tonsils removed.
i am so glad came across this page my mom is a nurse and for years i tried to explain these stinky balls i was coughing up but she had no idea what i was talking about. I even said thesame thing that chronic phelgm said.the smell is so bad that even if you wash your hands it still stinks. I am not a smoker and neither is my sister who gets them as is nice to know that other people kno wwhat i am talking about! I do however get really bad sinus infections.
For the past few months I have been noticing that when I would wake up I would have tiny little balls of would happen every so often. I have bad allergies with constant post nasal drip and flem, so I was just thinking it was something like that. Just this past week, I had had a sore throat for about a week withmy left tonsil totally swollen and red. After a few days I really tried to look at them with a flash light and I saw two white dots.
I had no insurance so I had to endure it but the congestion got significantly worse. With a foul odor and I noticed that I often times had these white balls in the back of my throat that would be coughed up. Only because I felt something lodged in the back of my throat a lot. I thought I may need my tonsils taken out. Sometimes these balls would come often and then sometimes none at all. It was weird. I started to wonder if my breath smelled like these foul smelling collections in my throat.
For about a year now, it feels like I have phlegm/mucus stuck in my throat and can't completely clear my throat. Also when I cough, its a lil wet and there is phlegm. When I started to have the problem, I went to the doc and he said it just may be sinuses and sent me on my way... but never went away. I went to the doc while I was in Basic Training in SC... then went to GA for 4 months... back to FL for a few months (where i use to live) and now I am in NC....
I woke up this morning coughing pretty hard. While I was coughing, a bunch of fluid came out of me. So I naturally got up and went to the bathroom to check it out. It didn't seem like pee. :P tmi, I know. but I was consistently wet all morning and in between coughing fits even. So I got a shower about 12:30pm, called my OB and they sent me to L&D to make sure that it wasn't my waters breaking.
Charcoal is also a very good digestive/stomach calmer, and is even used for stomach problems in humans sometimes. Have you seen a lot of mucus in your dog's stool? Has your dog coughed up or thrown up mucus wads? It's prime allergy season right now.
Symptoms can include a headache or pressure in the area of the sinuses, a stuffy nose, achy teeth, an odor coming from the nose, postnasal drip, cough, sore throat, laryngitis, lightheadedness, constant low fever, and thick, yellow to green nasal drainage. This inflammation can block sinus drainage and cause increased mucus production. The mucus can drain from the nose and sinuses down the back of the throat causing a constant or intermittent postnasal drip and sore throat.
