Hello I have a question. On April 5 2010 I had protected sex with a girl, but before I put the condom on I was fingering her. Once I put the condom on my fingers were still moist from her fluids. Some of her fluids could have got into the tip of the condom while putting it on. About a week in a half ago I had three headaches back to back for three days. No fever that I no of. A few night sweAts fir about three nights. Nit every night but on and off skipping a night of sweating.
Toward the end of the 3rd week of July came down with a really bad cold coughing and blowing out green mucus, chest congested, stuffy nose, all the symptoms of an upper respiratory infection was a little worried but not a lot cause a lot of ppl at work was also sick with a cold, but I went and got tested anyway Negative 4 wk and 2 wk post exposure. I stated to fell better from the cold a couple of days later, so I thought. A few days ago I stated getting a low fever 100-101.
Hello all! I'm sure that this topic has come up before, but I can't find the post. I'm now 15w2d and have been coughing like crazy for the last week or so. It's so bad to the point where I'm occasionally gagging. I called the doctor today and she said all I can do is have tea with honey or some lozenges. Cough syrups have way too much alcohol in them. Has anyone else had success with anything "safe" for us?
I can't stop coughing. It hurts so much. Anything besides drinking water? I've sat up,laid down walked drank water like crazy... I don't even wanna spit after I cough cause I feel like it's been so violent I'll be coughing up blood... baby girls moving and I'm still having Braxton hicks but this cough is killing my throat.... didn't happen til about 2-3 hours ago and just seems to,get worse.... any suggestions?
I have had a high risk exposure to HIV and 6 weeks later I developed the following symptoms... swollen glands, fever, a 1 inch rash on my wrist under where a bracelet was, coughing up heavy mucus runny nose at the beginning and diahhera. I know it is said that these symptoms are too late as i have been told in previous posts but in what situation have people reported to actually get ars at 6 weeks later? Should i be worried about this or take my 4 week negative test and live with that?
I take it at night It helps with sleep and the rash.
Well today I feel so much worse than I did on Monday. I am having coughing fits to where I almost pass out, still super dizzy (even when not coughing) and my throat is even more sore and I hardly can talk (kids are enjoying that part lol) I think I have bronchitis. So glad I go see my primary doctor tomorrow. Are any of you ladies experiencing this?
someone in another post suggested, Tessalon Perles (need prescription). It works by reducing the reflex in the lungs that causes the urge to cough. I'm having the same problem, which is how I found this area. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it. My back is getting sore from the coughing. I can't even talk with out coughing. It's almost like an uncontrollable reflex. It's odd I don't cough at night, while sleeping. 2nd month of treatment.
I experience several bouts of heavy coughing that can last anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes while coughing up mostly clear phlegm with some of it a sea green color and at other times tinged pink - though this is rare. One out of ten coughing fits ends with me vomiting .... I guess it would be best described as a clear foamy form of phlegm. I do experience hot and cold flashes, sometimes it helps my breathing to step outside and sometimes it makes it worse.
That feeling in your chest when you start coughing every time you breathe. it is riving me CRAZY because it is gone during the day but comes back at night.
I am in the apartment all day so if it were an allergy why wouldn;t I cough during the day?
Nothing cures it. No allergy or cold meds I took them all.
Is it mold allergy or a cold or bronchitus?
I was in the same boat a week ago. I ended up going to a cvs care clinic once the coughing hit and she said robittussein dm for the coughing, tylenol for the headache and benadryl if i felt stuffy and sleep. It helped until the cough got bad and then she prescribed me tesalon perles? She was pregnant and said she has used them to help with the coughing too.
infection that leaves me coughing horribly for weeks (even months) and somehow I avoided it this year. My sneezes are big, loud, crazy sneezes, and same with coughing. Never seem to be able to do small, calm, girly sneezes or coughs. I hope I haven't jinxed myself and wake up coughing anyday now, lol....
Hey y'all, I'm 30wks n I feel like crap. My voice is gone, I'm congested, my throat hurts n I'm sneezing n coughing like crazy. I was wondering there is absolutely NOTHING I can take?? Like I can't rub vicks on my chest or can I even take throat losengers(I know I probably killed that spelling lol)??
Now, as soon I get just a little bit cold I start coughing like crazy, my voice is even changing. It gets worse at night and when I lay down.
When I am coughing it feels like my body is trying to get something out of it. I can't breathe while I am coughing and that makes me dizzy and I always get a headache. My body is pressing all the air out of my lungs while coughing.
First it sounds like barking but as it goes on it will change. But I can't describe what kind of cough it is.
