Well, if you are coughing up blood, a responsible adult in your life should be told so you can be seen by a doctor. I doubt I have to state the obvious that inhalation of smoke from weed isn't good for you. but coughing up blood is something that requires medical care so you need to talk to your parents about seeing a doctor.

It happened again yesterday afternoon, and again last night before I went to bed. I can still taste blood in my mouth when I swallow, cough, or clear my throat. I've looked at my throat in the mirror, using a flashlight, and it's just splattered with blood. Not really sure what to do... I can tell it's upsetting my stomach though and I feel dizzy- and just not myself today... a little disoriented.

is it at all possible to have some kind of allergy to the night air? my grandson is fine during the day, but as soon as the evening comes around, he starts coughing..and is sometimes up all night coughing...to the point of throwing up...then fine in the morning..he's three years old. regular cough remedies seem to do nothing..

Hi I've got a bout of flu and last night had several coughing fits (with mucus discharge). I would say that the blood would be from coughing too much. I've had that after coughing too much. Just a couple of specks of blood, a once off. If you were coughing a lot of blood, you should see a doctor. But I wouldn't worry about that happening, it would be caused by something worse than the flu. You cough because you are trying clear your throat. Flem in the throat comes from the nose, as the nose and throat are connected.

There are no other symptoms, no rash, no problem breathing yet, But coughing dry and gets really bad at night, also after coughing for too long during the night i get a bit of chest pain then it goes away.
