629668 tn?1222914854 it depends on what plan your company purchased of that health insurance.. without any assistance our IVF is going to be $8k, and if we have to do ICSI add on another $1500.(with meds and everything).. some places do this thing called shared risk.. it typically includes three IVF and its something like they help you pay for most of it if it doesn't work and if it does work then you pay them back or something like that? GOOD LUCK!
Avatar m tn can anyone give me an idea of what interferon costs im just looking for a round about figure so i can start planning to try and afford it i know what my insurance will cover im looking for either the cost beofre or without insurance as well as with insurance or just what you paid for it and if you live in georgia and have coventry as your insurance provider i would really like to chat with you about the costs
Avatar n tn So here they go, another year without health insurance because they can’t come up with the monthly premiums for coverage, and on top of that, now they will get penalized for not having health coverage. I am watching my kids get sicker and sicker and I fear for her safety as she still cannot get her screening for her cancer. I need some answers. I can’t sit back and continue to watch my son and daughter in law get sicker by the day because they cannot get their thyroid medications.
Avatar f tn The total out-of-pocket wihout insurance would be $2400 a year. With insurance it would be $1900 a year. So now the total cost of medical care with United catastrophic insurance is $6300 and uninsured out-of-pocket cost is $3600. The costs of outpatient procedures and other things are generally comparable to that and I'm not going to bother doing the math on them as I'm not familiar with the costs there.
Avatar f tn I’m a Type I who doesn’t have any insurance either and these types of clinics have worked for me—I have received very low cost doctor’s visits and lab work. https://www.pparx.org/FreeClinicFinder.php http://findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov/ Both of these links, once you enter your information, will tell you the nearest free and low cost clinics; there usually are several clinics to choose from. Avatar n tn I suppose by your post that you do not have Insurance and I'm not too sure where you would get help in this type of situation. If you haven't had positive Mammograms or some form of indication that you may have a suspicion of Breast Cancer I really see no reason for a Mastectomy at this time. I wonder if you have even found a Surgeon who would perform this procedure at this point.
Avatar m tn Those that have treated, with and/or without insurance, how much out of pocket does it cost?
Avatar f tn I am pregnant with my first child and I had the same question about how much it would cost. I have insurance but mines was able to give me an estimate of how much a vaginal birth and c - section would cost out of pocket. Vaginal birth was about $5,000-$6,000 and C - section was about $8,000-$9,000. I am assuming this varies depending on labor. Hope this helps some.
5079728 tn?1365549989 But this forum has already helped me put my mind at peace. I called my insurance Co. without knowing my results yet and gave them names of possible meds for the "triple treatment" and all are covered with a co-pay of course. I have figured out my finances if i have to take leave and I have 4 1/2 months worth of sick pay and vaca. If i do have to take short term, it would be after that runs out, so that is another 3 months i guess.
799360 tn?1239288130 There is older post about this and I thought thatanother person said when thier INSURANCE bill came it showed the cost of $900. That posting we were talking about what the cost of the shots were because I do not have Ins. and my Doc. had said that they cost $3000 each, so...I went for the Hypohell which I am starting now. So based on their response I would say that at least it appeared that their insurance covered the cost. Best thing to do is ask your Ins. company.
Avatar f tn The lab costs for my LP+Blood were $1,153.74. This was just the lab. There were other costs for the procedure itself, but I can;t find them.
Avatar n tn umm in the usa without insurance, n im chronic.
Avatar n tn s office without general anesthesia. Local anesthetic may be used. For those who have had one of these done, what is the average cost? My insurance does cover it, but I have a fairly high deductible, so for all practical purposes whatever it costs is what I'm paying and I'd like to know about what I'm in for.
Avatar n tn Like any health treatment, it can be quite costly without insurance. If you are in the states, I would recommend going to Planned Parenthood. They will charge you on a sliding scale fee or for free and make things very affordable.
Avatar f tn My insurance charges $150 a month. Some insurance charge a percentage of the cost of the drugs. That is what we are fighting against in NC.
Avatar f tn can someone walk me through the process of getting health insurance? I don't currently have any, and I'm already seeing how expensive this pregnancy will be without it. I had my first visit yesterday and it's cost $240 out of pocket. I'm 18 on August 28th, any advice?
Avatar n tn If the insurance companies were not in the loop, then the cost would probably be cheaper. A few years ago I had to have an h.pylori test. I had it done through my mother's doctor, who goes by "insurance" cost instead of "real" cost. The test cost over $300, even though I was paying with cash and not actually going through an insurance company.
393432 tn?1212209678 I have insurance and the cost for one month of Bariclude is going to cost nearly $400. Does anyone have any tips, hints, clues, etc. on how to afford this?
1722607 tn?1335747858 Do most insurance companies cover the cost of treatment? I have Care First Blue Cross. Anyone out there have the same insurance?
Avatar n tn I have eight implants four on top and four on the bottom. My pair of dentures made for these implants do not fit properly and I would like to try another dentist at this point. I would like to know what the "average" cost of a denture to go over these implants will be - with and without a milled bar. I live in Central VA. I realize that it is impossible to have an exact figure, but I would like to know around what they will cost so I can compare the differences. Thank you.
Avatar f tn I am just wondering if that how much you really gotta pay with or without insurance just for a freaking check up. I mean they just ask MW how I'm doing check my blood pressure check my baby's heartbeat and that's it. Oh they check if I still have the bacterial vaginosis and if I still have any other infections by peeing and a swab. Seriously? Just for all that. I mean I ain't paying anything but its still my insurance. Or their a rip off?!?!
