This caused me to become very fatigued and my doctor attributed it to the Coreg so he switched me to 10mg Norvasc every day (after weaning off the Coreg for 3 days). This was 2 weeks ago and I'm still feeling the same fatigue. How long does Coreg stay in your system after you stop taking it? I know that Lexapro can cause tiredness as well, but my doctor seemed to think otherwise.
Is there anything wrong with 145bpm? it's certainly not ridiculously high.
After my triple bypass surgery my heart rate would quickly jump from 90 (standing) to 186 during the exercise classes at rehab. I say 'jump' but it took 10-15 seconds if I really worked hard, such as very fast star jumps. When stopping the exercise my heart reduced to 90 in less than 30 seconds. There was no chest pains and I felt great.
The pharmacist told me about Effexor XR (that will be going generic July 1st). Has anyone been on this?? Has it helped?? I have also tried paxil, WellbutrinXL, and Prozac. These made me more depressed. I guess i just need some help as to what else is out there that works... I really don't have anyone that can relate to my depression so hoping someone in here can...
5 Bid and Lisinopril 10mg QD. Today upped Lisinopril to 20mg QD. Kept Coreg same for this week. Will do labs again next week and if ok up Coreg again. BP 118/75. Heart rate 78.
Cardiologist believes my root problem is low HDL, any insight into raising it beyond niaspan(i take 2000mg) also looking at stem cell therapys like vescell and regenocyte. Any opinions on this type of treatment for the heart?

5 mg tid may increase, max 10mg/day; ext rel tabs (Xanax XR) give daily in am 0.5-1mg initially, maintenance 1-10mg daily.
The onset for both Xanax and Xanax XR is 30 minutes, peak 1-2 hour, duration 4-6 hours and therapeutic response time for both is 2-3 days.
For mild to moderate anxiety, 6mg is a very hefty dose.
Xanax is not recommend for daily use beyond 4 months and must be tapered slowly.
im 34 years old currently taking xanax xr .5mg in the morning(daily) for anxiety and stress and celexa 10mg for depression at night(daily) (generic brands) for 2-weeks, the side effects that i've experience with xanxa xr .5mg is drownsy, anxious, off and on. celexa 10mg dry mouth, nausea in the morning, off and on. i was told that it's normal because my body is adjusting. at the moment since 9.3.08 i've been experience acid reflux, taking mylanta.

I have to agree with the CC doctor. You are not on the target doses of the Coreg or the ACEI, your Lisinopril. The Coreg target is 25-50 mg. twice a day. I think the Lisinopril would be 20 mg. per day. Now that may be because you absolutely cannot tolerate a higher dose, like me. Nevertheless, a CHF specialist would be a good start. I didn't qualify for a bi-v either. What is your BP? They want you as low as possible without passing out.
HE TOLD ME TO TAKE ONE DAY OF 37.5 EFFEXOR, AND 10MG OF PROZAC. THEN FOR 3-5 DAYS TAKE JUST THE 10MG OF PROZAC. I FELT A LITTLE SICK STILL GETTING OFF THE EFFEXOR WITH THE PROZAC BUT IT WAS NOT NEARLY AS BAD. THE REASON HE GAVE THE PROZAC TO OFFSET THE EFFEXOR SIDE EFFECTS IS BECAUSE PROZAC HAS A MUCH LONGER HALF LIFE THAN EFFEXOR. THE SEROTONIN IN YOUR BRAIN STAYS MORE STABLE WITH THE PROZAC IN YOUR SYSTEM, AS THE DRUGS GRADUALLY COMES OFF YOU ARE ABLE TO SLOWLY WEAN OFF.

Gracias a Dios no he tenido hospitalizaciones desde entonces. Pero en ocasiones me dan ciertas dolamas raras. Como la que he experimentado en estos días. He sentido unas punzadas al lado izquierdo del Corazón que van y vienen por debajo de la clavícula.
ACE inhibitor (lisinopril)...10mg 2x, beta blocker (coreg) 12.5 2x, diuretic for about a year. Hospitalized for congested heart failure and subsequent to tests received a stent in the RCA, LAD is totally blocked but collateral vessels provide a natural bypass, and circumflex was 72% blocked...not stented.

My daughter just started taking 10mg of adderall xr and it doesn't seem to be working as well as the generic ritalin was. Does it take awhile for it to have it's full effect? This is only her third day on the medication. Any thoughts?
I have been taking 10mg of Valium per night for a couple years and all I do is stay in bed and my life is slowly wasting away. Even though that isn't a high dose, if I stop taking it even for a week, I don't sleep more than 2 hours and wake up. No bad withdrawal symptoms like some of the other people's posts. I went 7 days without a 10mg Valium and I only slept a couple hours a day and really could not get back to sleep. I lay in bed for 8 hours trying to get rest.
I had a minor heart attack in August 2008 and I had 5 stents put in. I was started on coreg 6.25 two tmes per day. The dr recently reduced me to 3.125 because of weight gain. I am still gaining weight. I decided to stop it altogether and did not tell my dr. My resting pulse is up as well as my pulse rate upon exertion. I just stopped the coreg. Will this regulate itself in a few days.
Hey, I was prescribed generic 10mg Adderall 1x per day by my psych, but when I tried it I felt slightly dizzy with ear stuffiness (the type when you fly on airplanes) accompanied by sharp, inner ear pain (in both ears). This lasted about 1.5 months.
Is there anyway to reduce this while taking adderall, and what could it be caused by?
