I have been on Copaxone for a little over 2 years. I have some slight lipoatrophy issues, including some difficulty injecting into my arms (resistance against the plunger). But I've kept at it since I've had good MRI results. Tonight I couldn't get the plunger to move at all. It wouldn't budge, even after I tried pulling the needle out a bit.

Hi, Is anyone else having problems getting their Copaxone injections thru their insurance company? Typically, I call mine to re-order then they call me the next day to schedule it for overnight delivery. It's been over 2 wks since I ordered mine so I called to check on it. The rep at Cigna say the price has increase dramatically so they're either not for sure if they'll pay now or they're in talks with the Copaxone people. Are they giving me the run around or what?

Can anyone explain the way Medicare works with part d coverage for copaxone? The term catastrophic coverage has raised my eyebrow a smidge. I'm awaiting a call back from shared solutions and their "medicare" expert team. If im understanding the sales lady right, she informed me I would be responsible for the first $4700 approx.?

So many sales at target and Walmart ...fyi lol I've been buying clothes and small necessities like socks wash clothes sleepers shoes blankets etc. for under $5-$9 and I bought a GREAT stroller and car seat combo for $100 (Graco Spree Classic Connect) and a $59 pack and play with bassinet, napper, and changer...if you have any money to burn shop til you drop ladies ..

From a fiscally responsible point of view DMDs are a gamble. They do not work for everyone who is on them, the problem is no Doctor can predict who they will work for. MS is a very complicated Disease. It is a shame the Press presented this report in such a simplistic way. I do not think the USA has anything to worry about. The Specialty Pharmacies and Drug Companies will fight to keep folks with MS on the DMDs there is way to much money at stake.

While I know the FDA is cracking down on Internet sales of narcotics, I was just curious if many of you have purchased your drugs that route. It has been over a year since I bought meds online....tried to hide this from my hubby but he found out early on (How can you hide $600/month?) I can't believe how much money I have saved our family....wow...how selfish was I! This "drug money" could have covered the kids school tuition, car insurance and mortgage.....

There are a potload of jobs posted and available. Not for lower level sales, but Managed Care Liasons, Sales Managers, Marketing managers, etc, etc, etc. Many jobs in many markets. I wish my expertiese was in pharacology. I bet you could make some good money for awhile besides doing a good service. I didn't see any jobs offered in manufacture, so that must be being farmed out. It is nice to see this.

t go away after being off the Copaxone we decided the two were unrelated and I started taking Copaxone again, last night was my first injection after the break. My question is - last night I woke up feeling like I had the flu, I was sweating, ached all over and had a massive headache. I know these are side effects of the interferons but has anyone had this while on Copaxone? I had no reaction like this the first few weeks I took Copaxone.

Among them, 5 people (0.05%) have Hallucinations, Mixed." the most recent was one person in 2011. It would be difficult to prove hallucinations were a side effect of copaxone, based on those very small numbers. There are no withdrawal symptoms from going off copaxopne.

I have never heard of this side effect from copaxone and not sure how it could effect your cycle. Anyway, I had a hysterectomy way back when so I couldn't have this symptom regardless. Sorry.

Did they tell you that you had optic neuritis? That was my first flair as far as we know. I've had it 3 or 4 times. I don't remember. I went on prednisone a few times and it worked every times. Lately, for the past few months off and on, I've been having jumpy vision. It gives me pretty bad migraines. I get migraines very easily so I'm on daily meds for that as well. It seems to work well but it doesn't stop the things that trigger my migraines.

Hello, I am sorry that I am saying this, I was pre-diagnosed with ms that was recently confirmed not ms. I am sorry that I had the news that most of you reading this will not hear. However I had accepted the diagnosis and was prepared,to move forward with my newly found life. And as a result almost a year of injection copaxone treatment ms that I don't know what to do with. I hate to throw it away but am not sure if I have another choice. Does anyone know of any other options?

Started my Copaxone on May 24 and it was fine and had no pain to speak of injecting.

Hi Ali. I can tell you my experience with Copaxone. I was just diagnosed in Dec of 07. I haven't been on any other MS med. I was put on Copaxone. In those 3 months I struggled with depression, sleeplessness, gained 10 lbs and had terrible dark circles under my eyes. It completely changed my personality. I took myself off it and finally after 2 weeks am starting to feel like myself again and have dropped the weight and the circles under my eyes are gone.

But, I have just recently wondered about a question about weight gain. I am paranoid about gaining weight, and for some reason have not really thought about this issue when discussing the DMD's. I was actually relieved that someone finally is doing something about my situation. Anyways, what my question is ...... Has anyone experienced weigh gain, and if so, how much is expected?

Anyone out here using Copaxone? And if so for how long. I think I am going to try it, and was interested in some first hand information. shots, side effects, if you think it is working, etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am SO glad that you posted this...I have noticed (just started Copaxone about 5-6 weeks ago) that I do have changes in my tastes. In fact, not long after I give myself an injection, I notice a strange taste in my mouth, almost like thiere is increased saliva production. This is probably TOTALLY my imagination... Yes, there are injection site reactions. I was getting BIG welts when I injectied with the auto-injector. I decided to try an experiment and go back to self-injecting.

I was reading the question that were posted about copaxone and I am currently on my husband insurance and my copay is $40.00 a month but they pay $5.00 and I only pay $35.00 a month. Well my situation is changing and I really need to find a way to pay for this medicine. I check with my insurance on my job and it will not cover this medicine. I need help. I read this other lady post and she said they told her she didnt qualify, that is what I am afraid of.
