Lol when I went in I didn't actually deliver for a couple hours. I'm sure you will be ok in not deLivering in your car lol. But you will want to time them just watch the clock when you have them. My doc suggested I wait until 5 minutes apart.

I'll be 37 weeks on Sunday and I am not dilated and 0% effaced. I was monitored today at the doc and had only one big contraction. I really have no problem with waiting till my due date =), my mom and my husband are the ones who are so impatient! Tuesday I'm having a sono to measure baby so we'll see how it goes =). I can imagine that was very scary. Are you doing better now? I'm 30 weeks and not due till march though the dr. And nurses don't think ill make it past February. Since iv had minor braxton hicks every night for two weeks and baby already dropped and positioned. Other than that my pregnancy had been very smooth sailing!

With my daughter she was measuring big and they wanted to talk c-section and I was freaked out. I hope you can get those contractions going and they start doing something. I think once I hit 35 weeks this weekend I'm going to start getting a lot more active and see if that helps at all. I guess just a little bit of progress would make me feel better because at this point I'm afraid we tried so hard to keep him in that he's not going to want to come out!!

My first was harder, pushed for almost 2 hours, but some go much faster, it hurts, but the worst part is so quick, then you have the baby out and you dont care. The contractions are way worse then the pushing in my opinion. I did all mine naturally though.

Every woman is different and gets different cues from her body that she is in labor. If you have had a baby before, what were some of the signs that you were in labor? Do you get sick? Did you have to go to the bathroom more? Did you abdomen start tightening? Also what tips helped you in your labor? Did walking help? Did a warm bath help?

I'm sooo ready..!!! 5 more weeks and by the way who else is gettin zero sleep at night due to pain and restlessness :/ I miss sleeping at night.!! Aug 25 needs to come on..!!!!!

Im due the 29th of this month....but just got word today that im being induced on the 23rd. Can't wait to get this baby outta me! This is my second child, my first child was born at 32weeks due to preclamsia issues...so this pregnancy is my first "full term" pregnancy experince. Cant say I have enjoyed it much. I feel huge and miserable. Hopeing baby comes sooner then when im induced...only time will tell.

Well when you are in labor you are dialating, and you can feel the contractions. The contractions push baby downward and cause the cervix to dialate. But some women will dialate to about 3 cm and not even realize it and this can happen weeks before labor. So in general what you will feel are contractions which causes dialations, but you're not actually feeling the dialation itself. did you mean cervix is completely shot or short?

I'm sorry to tell you this but having pitocin almost always leads to an epidural, I had a natural birth sat on the ball the whole time rotating my hips sipping on water have spouse or doula rub your lower back during contractions, I did not want to be strapped and monitored the whole time, if your on the ball it helps you progress, when they check you they will have you get into bed and then you can get back on the ball, you can get in the water too up until you are a 7, don't let them

t know what that feels like. But honestly to not know when or where you might be when you go into labor sounds terrifying lol.
