My nuclear cardiology - myocardial perfusion interpretation worksheet stated that my ejection fraction was 98%. I phoned the nuclear medicine dept. to express my concern that this was incorrect. After they reviewed the test results, the new revised worksheet shows ejection fraction = 92%. Is this possible?

One more thing today my blood pressure was 100/149 the Dr.said oh it's fine you don't need to worry.It's been up for two years but after the ablation in 2011 it dropped to 64/46 and lower. The past 5 months it has stayed on the high side 172/92 and higher.I'm on Cozaar 50 mg thus far no Dr.(not even my FP)has been concerned the Nurse was more concerned than the Dr.

I have a second grader that can't seem to keep focused at school he sits in the front row and the teacher constantly has to make sure he is following along with the rest of the class and usually he's not he's somewhere else on the page, they do one side of a worksheet together as a class, but he just cannot follow along. I know it isn't ADHD because he can sit still and he isn't disruptive. WHat else can we do.

I wouldn't worry..even if your water breaks you would have time to get to hospital. For me even after water bag breaking my contractions didn't come for a short while after the same day. It may be uncomfortable but I still think you can make it if it came to that and no one could take you.

I have a 7 year old who refuses to do any school work unless he feels like it. he says its to hard. I know he can do it because he has before. but now he throws fits and doesnt want to do anything. Ive talked to his teacher and she thinks hes still at about a kindergarten level.....maybe. hes being evaluated at school for "special needs" but since he can do his work but refuses to his teacher doesnt think he will qualify. so I got in touch w his dr and now hes being evaluated for ADHD.

You can look up birth plans on the internet, and sometimes your doctor will provide you with a worksheet for one. Mine gave me a seven page packet for a birth plan that explains what my options for medication/freedom of movement/relaxation tecniques are. It gives me space to write what my feelings are about each option, and covers a lot more then what I wrote above. Just remember your birthplan is going to be a guideline for them to follow your wishes. It's not a contract for you or them.

They had to evacuate the other students, the principal had to go get my dad (he taught at the junior high down the street), and ems was called. They had all the teachers shut their doors and stand in the windows when they wheeled me out so the other kids couldn't see. I was 2 months early though so the hospital stopped the labor and sent me home on bed rest, except school...

It is not going to get any easier later, a baby at least sleeps every now and then but toddlers do not give you study time. You will be really sorry not to finish high school, not only now (embarrassment in front of your friends and probably sometimes having to lie) but later, it gets worse not better with time. As you see above, you will be doing it for your child as well as for you; if you can't do it for you, do it for the baby's sake.

i was that way all through high school. it's not good to give in to it...though i know it's much easier. it turns out i missed out on a lot in school by letting this control me. but my point is i'm 24 now and things change a LOT from your age to my age. now i'm not nearly as uncomfortable in social situations as i used to be. i'm also not nearly as uncomfortable as i used to be with talking to other people i don't know. anyway...

So I am still in high school don't judge. But anyways I have been so busy with school that I has to keep rescheduling my doctors appointments and today I have my first appointment with my doctor. s only the first couple letters, often in perfect mirror image (amazing ability, really). Our school is a blue ribbon school with high achieving students so it's not like they're lagging - most were ahead of average. But I'd have a list of 16 or so kids in the class, and a stack of papers, and sometimes I'd just sit and stare at the kid's handwritten name and be completely unable to match what was on that paper to a typed name. But anyway, interesting.
