contractions vs baby movement

When you take castor oil, I know you can start getting contractions if your baby is ready & everyone swears that It will put you into labor! My Question is, can you tell a difference between contractions vs. Stomach/bowel cramps? Because it obviously might make you have diarrhea but can you tell the difference between the two kinds of pain???

Can you feel the baby move throughout contractions? I have been having frequent contractions so I don't know if I can feel the baby or if she is still sleeping.

I had mine done the day before my due date, was cramping for hours and about 12 hours after getting it done I noticed a very noticeable decrease in movement with my baby but was still feeling him move just not nearly as much so I went to sleep woke up next morning & realized I wasn't feeling him move at all...went to L&D and turns out I was in labor! Doctor said a lot of times you'll notice a decrease in movement when labor isbeginning.

**I feel that I also need to include when my last cycle was vs what the baby is measuring has a difference of about 4 weeks. When they are saying I got pregnant per the size of the baby I was already having the symptoms. This is my 2nd child and the first one measured very small all during her pregnancy too.

The risk is just too much for making baby sick if he/she has a bowel movement in the womb and inhakes it. If you can stomachs tea I hear raspberry leaf tea is a great starter, along with nipple stimulation and even sex.

When your in active labour or just getting contractions do you still feel the baby move like normal ?

I thought it was false labor. Yesterday I had them all day. I googled false labor vs true labor . And I kept getting contractions even while walking. Still didnt want to call my husband. Waited for him to get home around 10pm. Started to get pain on lower back. Finally I told him to go to the doc. As soon as I arrived at the room bright red blood!! I immediately laid down. After half an hour I heard a pop,my water broke!

I have not felt the baby move since contractions started. 4 hours. What should I do? Should i feel the baby move in between conractions?????? Is this false labour ???????

How many weeks are you guys?

If you are dehydrated or the baby had a growth spurt it maybe fetal movement instead of contractions! I had that and when they hooked me up to the machine to measure the contractions every time I had the pain it registered as fetal movement and they told me I was dehydrated and he was going through a growth spurt in which he freaked out because there is not much room left in there! Almost like he was trapped..lol!

I dont know my doctor said i will no longer have ultrasounds unless she is concerned last time i got to see my baby was on august...

As you get closer to giving birth your baby will slow down in movement due to baby having less room to move around. Braxton Hix are very common that actually may be what's going on with you. If you feel too much concern or baby is going hours without you feeling movement make an appointment just to be sure.

Does the baby move during contractions.? & does the movement hurts? I cant remember.

the movement won't be as hard due to baby runnin out off space as long as it sonething like 10movements baby shud be fine even if they feel like butterflys moving around

Am 23 weeks today and non stop movement. Anyone have an active baby all hours of the day. At first was a wonderful feeling but non stop laying low on my bladder making me run to the restroom is not fun. Am so ready for thia little boy to come home !!!

I'm 37 weeks almost 38, am u supposed to feel less movement of my baby since I'm getting closer?

t had any more contractions except on my back, and the last 2 days my baby has barely moved. I know that movement normally slows down a bit and is harder to feel, but I've only felt maybe 2 roll/kicks all day yesterday. I'm trying everything I can think of. I'm waiting for my dr office to open I'm an hr so I can call and come in to get checked and make sure he's ok...I'm so nervous!

You can definitely feel the difference between gas vs movement/kicks. It takes more time for first time moms. Im one and it took 18 weeks for me to feel a tiny bit of movement and 20 to feel full on kicks.it varies..no worries..

Is there a such thing as the baby moving too much? I'm a FTM due in 3 weeks and my baby girl is moving non stop? Should I be concerned? And I'm not sure what a contraction feels like at this point. Lol. help!
