contractions under ribs

The pressure from his head causes me to lose my breath and brings on contractions. Last night he was kicking my ribs. Oh yes I have a very active baby.....Yikes.. My oldest son did the same thing he would hang out at night so far up I felt like he was in my mouth...LoL. Welcome to the joys of pregnancy. It is fun but can be quite painful.....

ve been having a horrible pain in my back, its on the right side directly under my ribs. At first I thought it was just the baby balled up right there, but now I don't think so. I've read about labor starting with 'back contractions', but everything says its in the lower back, I don't feel like mine are in the lower back, but in the middle. I feel like it might be contractions because its not a solid pain, and does come and go. Has anyone else had this?

Today at work I started experiencing some very sharp pains under my ribs. The baby was moving a little but I have never had pain with movement before. It almost felt like it could have been contractions but I heard Braxton hicks are relatively painless. This was painful and hurt more when I sat down. The pain went in and out for about an hour before it subsided finally. Any ideas what this could have been????

And she feels like she is in a tight ball in the center. But then right after the pain goes away she kicks like crazy under my ribs. My husband tried rubbing my belly and the slightest touch felt like my skin was going to rip. I just had an ultrasound Tuesday and they told me she was really high and didn't want to come out any time soon. This doesnt feel anything like what I pictured contractions to feel like. I'm actually scared that she is flipping back around and going breach.

Baby is breeched (flexed breech) with head more to the left side and legs to the right, under my ribs. Last two weeks baby girl has been kicking around, and, obviously, it hurts quite a bit, when someone kicks your ribs from the inside. But last days the pain under my ribs don't go away - sitting, touching the place and getting up from bed, or rolling over to other side in bed has been painful. Also got sick 2 days before, no high temperature, but cough and blocked, dripping nose.

m having tightning under my ribs and period cramps, is this pressure under my ribs the start of contractions? I understand the purpose of contractions is to move the baby down and out; this is why I am wondering if it's normal to feel this pain right above where she sits.

38 weeks tomorrow and idk if I am having contractions or not, since last night every hour or so I get a tight cramping feeling through out my stomach and start to breath very heavy. Am I having contractions?

At what stage do babys start getting under your ribs? Im 33 weeks n it hasnt happened yet is it more closer to being 40 weeks that they start that?

I hope so! I'm gonna wait and see because it's not very strong right now. And my stomach is very tight in my ribs which it hasn't been before unless it was a little butt on one side.

I woke up the other night with a sharp pain under my ribs. The next night it moved down into my lower back. And now today im having pain near my uterus. I thought it was poop cramps but its not going away and has been lasting for about 3 hours now and feels like its getting worse. Im considering going to the er but dont want to go if its just poop cramps. Any suggestions?

I can fill my sons feet in my ribs idk if that means any thing or what but when my contractions start he stops and when they stop he kicks or pushes my ribs

im 13 weeks an I just started to get pains on my ribs and under my ribs an I just freeze because it hurts so much I can't even breath, it only last for abt 10-15 seconds but it's really painful. Do any of you get this feeling ??

I'm only 24+3 and for the last week and half I can't sit or lay on either side without this horrible pressure of pain under my left ribs.. It doesn't feel like his foot stuck up under there but I can't do anything bout it. Mom said it could be my organs needing a place to go and they chose there... Anyone else have this?? I have a pain located in between my breasts but closer to my right side just under my ribs. I though it was my ribs at first but I don't think so. Do you have any ideas of what it could be?

Im 32 weeks and all day i have had this sharp pain under my left breast while i breathe , it hurts soo bad to breathe and is very uncomfortable. i dont know if i should call my doxtor or what because it has not got any better and is only getting worse while i lay down and im getting pretty nervous. So ive been haven this pain right under my ribs on the left side all the way to my belly button for the past two days. I have also had diarea everytime ive eaten. Today when i was haven a bm i had a serious pain all over my stomach kind of like a contraction. Ive also been havin mild contractions all day. any advice?
