I'm 37w today! At my last weekly appointment on Wednesday, doc told me that I'm 2cm dilated and 50 percent effaced. Yay! She says that if I don't have him by Dec 8th (he's due Dec 12th) she'll schedule my induction. I've also lost my mucus plug. Doc says I'm ahead of schedule so far. My mom thinks he'll be here next weekend. I'm just terrified of labor pains. I don't handhandle pain well.
I am only 24 weeks 6 days so i am not sure myself, i have been curious of this for a while now.
A few questions, you state she is in 6th grade but is in a 2nd grade Math and Reading class? Is she actually GOING to 2nd grade Math/Reading classes, or are you saying she's at a 2nd grade level, skill wise? Have you had her evaluated for any kind of learning disability? How are the rest of her grades? How does she do in school? Was she by chance born premature?
My son is 7 1/2 years old. He will be 8 in a month. He's in the second grade. He is getting in trouble in class for being disruptive, talking back (i.e. making excuses for not following directions, fidgeting in his chair, disrupting others, talking back and/or making excuses for things, mocking others, etc.) I have had this same problem when he was in first grade. He is a very good boy but very stubborn and it is a struggle to get him to listen to me at times.
I am on strict bedrest because my placenta is grade 3 and ready for labor but when I wanna go in for the contractions they stop. I've had 2 children 1 with an epidural and 1 natural I know these are not Braxton hicks because if they were I would not be dilating.
regarding to the case of my friend, we went for a pulmonologist for 2nd opinion, what he did was he let my friend undergo PA X-ray, Apicolordotic View then sputum exam,,result of X-ray states:
There is a patch of irregular density in the pheripiral aspect of the upper lobe seen at the area of the 4th anterior intercostal space.Ill defined and hazy densiies are also observed in the right apex.Both of these densities are clearly visualizaed in the apicolordotic view.
I am on my 36th week, scheduled for c section dec 2nd. But been. Having contractions like every 30min. I am here at work i cant monitor how long the contractions are. I did have mucus discharge lately I think mucus plug?

I'm 31 weeks with twins and think I might be having some contractions! The top of my stomach becomes very hard for about 30seconds and then relaxes and this has been happening every 4-10 mins on and off for 2hrs! Although this is my third pregnancy idk what a contraction feels lime cause my first son was born via emergency c-section and my 2nd was a scheduled!
With my first I started getting Braxton hicks around 20weeks wich is completely normal and with my 2nd I have had Braxton hicks since I was 13-14weeks which is also normal for already having a kid:) most wont get braxton hicks until around 19-24 weeks
39 weeks with vaginal and rectal pain and pressure contractions ever 4-6 minutes. 2cm 60%effaced. Doctors said there's nothing they can do but wait.. Can I get a 2nd opinion at a different doctor or asked to be induced or have a cervix dilating pill?
hi i had first fresh ivf attempt last month and it failed was very hard to understand as we had grade 5aa eggs witch was the best and my body responed really well to all the meds we are now going through a frozen cycle and having 2 eggs replaced but was just wondering if anyone has had any success with a second attempt in this situationn its all so hard to get your head around especially when i have been pregnant before naturally but ended in an eptopic good luck to all others in this situati

For one of my college courses, I did research on the Biopsychosocial approach to Asthma. I created my powerpoint into a video, added narrations, and uploaded it on youtube. I did this for educational purposes. I feel that I found good information that has to be shared. In addition, I feel that the Biopsychosocial model is often neglected and needs to be promoted. The video is perfect. I stumbled a few times and mispronounced medical terms (I am not a medical doctor).
i only know the pain will be bad. so maybe thats why.. coz we know how painfull contractions are..
Everyone is different. When I had my 2nd little boy I was having contractions (like I could actually see my stomach contracting) and it was doing it every 5 minutes when I noticed it... but I was having no pain.. I was just uncomfortable.. and with my first I didn't even know I was having contractions I didnt feel a thing...
When pains do get to 5 minutes apart or before if you need pain relief then just ring your doctor and go in.
