contractions on the left side

Can you have contractions on just one side? I am having dull achy pain ony left side that spikes every 10 -15 minutes. Could this be contractions?

when I was around 25-27 weeks something like that I was dehydrated and it caused me to have false contractions but it felt like a bad pain in my right side. I would call the doc to be sure.

s better for me and the baby. But my left hip keeps going numb and with my contractions the pain bolts down that leg also. Opinions? I need sleep!!

in fact when going to a movie or the theater I would sit on the left side so I was looking right....and it would not bother me as much....

How long does it last and how frequently? Sharp pain can be caused by Braxton hicks, even on one side. But it's worth monitoring to be sure if they're real contractions or not.

Lett side is better for you whether your pregnant or not for digestion and blood flow but its nit mandatory, just slightly better.

This went on for about a month, then a few days ago I felt something like a cold chill going up the left side of my face and a few minutes later the left side of my face went numb. It went away for about an hour and when it came back my lips and throat went numb also. I had an MRI done and it came back negative, I went to the ER and the doctor said since the MRI came back negative that basically the only answer was that my anxiety problem was causing it along with my blood pressure.

Can the ectopic pregnancy pain be like a pick in the left side ..its not even a pain its just a pick comes and goes with position change and going to the rest room ..am wondering what it could be and concerned about ectopic pregnancy. .

I can feel the contractions tho, its like stronger than a menstrual cramp

If you are able to time them than you are more than likely having contractions...if its a constant pain and water and laying on your left side or a bath doesn't give you any relief than definitely call your dr and if you can't reach him I would consider going to l&d to get checked.

t had bad cramping since then but I still have that dull pain but now is on my left side. Like I said before I already have a son but my pregnancy with him was very good! No symptoms no pain, no nada! So like with this one I had from scary bleeding to crazy cramping at times, lack of appetite, horrible pain on breast and all kinda crazy stuff... Lol but I'm good. I'll be alright.

Okay so I'm 38+4, and today I got checked I'm 2Cm dialated. I inserted 2 primrose oil pills vaginally bout 2 hours ago or a little less and I'm getting like cramps on my left side but I don't feel them on my lower abdomen I feel them on my thigh up to my butt and back.. What foul this mean? I don't feel anything on my right side btw!

t feel anything like that and with my first I also had early contractions so I kinda know the difference for the most part. If it continues I will call my doctor just for the ease of mind.

s heart rate dropped after a contraction so they had me lay back on left side, which made contractions get worse again. So they gave me a 2nd dose of meds and let me lay on right side. contractions stopped.. They checked me again and I am 1+cm dialated and 50%thinned. They got my test results back (trying to figure out y dizzy) something is going on with my kidneys and need further testing. There was a lot of blood and protein in my urine. So I am now on strict bed rest.

I woke up this morning with menstrual like pains in the left side of my stomach and a dull ache in my back.

I'm having lower left backache all day today.. is this the sciatica (sp) or possibly light contractions.. just wondering was checked yesterday and was only a fingertip...

From what I'm told braxton hicks aren't normally painful
