contractions

8697409 tn?1400014823 I'm due tomorrow been having a lot of pressure today and irregular contractions , but for the last hour I've been having contractions every 6-7 mins lasting 40-50 seconds they're painful but not unbearable
Avatar f tn But that depends as some people can loose it weeks before labour happens only for it to grow back but considering your gone 36 weeks you could go into labour any time. As for the contractions what I experienced was cramps that were like period pains only a lot more intense.
Avatar f tn Unfortunately not. They only get worse the further into labour you get.
Avatar f tn ve been having a lot of contractions (I think the real ones because it radiates to my back and is in my pelvis as well), but they are not in any sort of pattern.. is this the early labour stages or just false labour?
Avatar f tn So today I have been having some pretty 'intense' contractions. Not too painful but take my breathe away. I wasn't thinking too much about it until I went pee about 2 hours ago and wiped some blood. It wasn't pink, it was actually like a small amount of mucousy blood. Everytime I go pee there is a little bit less each time. But I am still having contractions and my back is starting to get kinda sore.
4476031 tn?1374200674 no harm going to hospital to check how far dilated you are and they can also see if it is contractions or not, but they say its not labour until contractions are like few mins apart, but if theres pressure then that could be real contractions..plus you are 39weeks, okay to have a baby now... just go check it out... no water break?
Avatar f tn The pain gets closer and stronger, they are also timeable. The contractions will not stop or lessen if you change position, walk, or try any soothing methods.
Avatar f tn They come in regular intervals, get longer, and closer together when it's real labour. When it's false labour they are very irregular. They also will usually ease up when you walk whern it's not the real thing.
Avatar f tn I agree with lurooney, if your waters break and your not having contractions (or if they break preterm) phone the hospital, they may need to monitor you as there is a risk of infection once your waters break.
Avatar f tn 45am this morning.. the contractions have been continuous! It has been painful but not like the ones I have experienced in my other two pregnancy when actually in labour!
Avatar f tn So I'm 36 weeks and pregnant with my first baby ive had a few bumps in the road that lead me to a high risk doctor while there they hooked me up to the monitor and told me I was having some contractions obviously not lasting that long but they where there...funny thing is I didn't feel them, then when seeing my regular obgyn I asked about the mucus plug and the nurse told me it's completely normal to begin losing it now which I have.
Avatar f tn Same as myself I was in hospital the other day with contractions and nothing happening....they said I'm probably in slow Labour but sure I dunno lol.....I feel like a fool at times. my boys are14 and 12 but on my second I didn't realize I was in Labour for hours ....
Avatar f tn ( Help how do i get this baby out of me ??
Avatar f tn if you are walking or are being active when you rest they should subside... true labour contractions get closer, stronger and follow a rythm and do not stop when you stop your activity... i know when im driving the BH are more apparent, when i have to pee, and if i very active...
Avatar f tn I feel stronger contractions this time but they r still painless n irregular...true labour contractions r at regular intervals, more painful. N have u lost the mucus plug?when I was pregnant with my first baby...
Avatar f tn If your water broke an ur that far a ling go, you may not have contractions now ir least be able to feel em but by time u get to hospital u may start feeling contractions, so yes go!
Avatar f tn Unfortunately your water probably will not break on its own. So do not wait just for that before you go to the hospital. It could break, but it doesn't for the majority of woman. I didn't know that until recently. My water broke with my first at 36 weeks. It's definitely not like the movies either if it does break on its own. Mine came in a big gush while I was sleeping (woke me up) and continued for the hour drive to the hospital and through out my 16 hours of labour.
Avatar f tn I think i might be having contractions 2 months early, but i'm not sure, what do i do to figure out?
Avatar n tn but I have walked around the house, and its still going.
