i know jars will do, but homemade is the best. shall i persist with the homemade food or should i give up and stick to the jars he likes?

Are 10 mins apart and some how according to the doc at the er i have went from 2 1/2 and 70% to 1 and 50% and instead of her listening to me she just says ill give you a pill to help you sleep...umm no thank you..uhh i just have to pray they get closer and i have my lil man or make it to monday and try the sweep...

How long does Braxton hicks contractions usually last before they become real contractions?

You should always be ready because they will come out of no where and you will know they are contractions! I'm 32 weeks and been having contractions for a week now! I'm on pills to stop them but it's not really helping!

Basically yesterday I was monitored and was getting contractions I dont know whether they were braxton hicks or contractions anyway they were the same length apart and they lasted the same time. I was examined and cervix was closed anyway I wake up today and have a real bad pain in my back and down low feels like period pains.

Im due on Jan 3rd, i will be 38 weeks tomorrow. I am not dilated or effaced yet! And i only had some contractions 2 days ago like from 12pm to 8pm they were every 2 to 3 min apart 20 to 30 seconds. They were not that strong to me so i didnt go to the hospital. Now im fine no contractions at all.

Mommytobe- yeah, I googled the difference between round ligament pain and contractions and it really made no sense.. Because it said round ligament pains can actually be preterm labor.. So idk.

m debating on if I should get the epidural or go natural I had the epidural with my other two and my last one the epidural made me itch. So I'm thinking about going natural. What do u think????

They will keep u if your at 5cm or if your water breaks.

I'd say they're just Braxton hicks. Real contractions only get stronger and stronger and closer together. Like they will get really quite painful and not go away.

But they asked if I felt my contractions n I told them it was hard for me to tell cuz my stomachs been hard and they told me they were lasting about a minute or so...

I turn 39 weeks on Tuesday and still no contractions !

I was scheduled to be induced on Sunday night, but ended up starting to have contractions Sunday morning, we went to the hospital in the morning and got sent home because I was only in early labor, so they told us to come back that night when I was scheduled to come in.

Awww good luck the contractions get a lot more intense once your water breaks! If the hospital offers some type of tub use it as it helps allivate some of the pain. Best wishes!!!

Is it possible for a contraction to last more then 5mins or should I call my doctor cause I'm having pains that feel like how a contractions supposed to from everything I've heard and read and experienced but they're lasting a lot longer then I've heard about. What do you think?

Sorry to sound so harsh but you made a choice in university to leave her and now she has made the choice not to resume contact with you,whilst i dont think she hates you as much as she loved it sounds more like she dont want to be hurt by you again she has moved on,now so must you.

though this friday again he had many issues with my family and made me cry half the night again, so much so that i became breathless and then he started caring again for me. then we shifted into our own new place this weekend. my inlaws came over for the house warming. [Iv become too sensitive to smell and cannot cook and cant eat out either. So during 1st trimester my husband called my mom to take care of me. she was cooking for me completely.

I drinked 2 cups of cinnamon tea because it made contractions stronger for some of my family members .

some women dont have contractions or dilate until their water is broken.. goodluck! maybe your water will break on its own before the induction date!
