Taking even ONE pain pill so soon in my detox set me back to the way I felt at day 3. It's a miserable day. So if you're arguing with yourself and having a conversation like this: "I'm doing so well, one or two pills won't hurt and I only need it temporarily to get a little relief." then PLEASE STOP NOW... because "just one" can hurt and it only drags out the W/D symptoms. We've come too far to take steps backward! I hate pills...

My birth mother dumped my sister and I out of her car when I was 2 yrs old and my sister was 1. She left us on the street and drove off. She was addicted to drugs and 2 kids hampered her style. Sounds like Braxton hicks, but BH contractions aren't supposed to be frequent like that. My doctor said if you can time them and if they get closer together over the day they might be real contractions.

I fell heading out to my car this morning and landed on my knee (not my belly and didn't hit my head). I cleaned my whole house then danced for 20 mins. Castor oil worked BUT it made my contractions too strong and my placenta detached from my uterus, I've never seen so much blood. My baby was in distress and my contractions didnt have a break, it was the worst pain I've ever felt. Way worse than my 58 hour labor with my first baby. I had my baby 4 hours later. So yes, castor oil works but I would never do it again.

Real contractions hurt and get stronger astime goes by. Braxtons, are very unconfortable, and will tend to lesson by drinking water, going to the bathroom, and swithing positions.

I took 1tsp of this last night around 6:00pm. I then went for a two mile walk. Came home and relaxed and took another two tsp of it at 7:50pm. I had to use the bathroom at 10:00pm then laid down. Equaling one full tbsp. I took 2 tsp at 10:45pm. I woke up at 5:45am and realized nothing was happening. I took another tbsp and still nothing. I'm not sick or running to the bathroom or having contractions. The baby is moving fine and I feel great.

I have tapered of diazapan 19 days ago. Got awful anxiety. Also stomach feels like contractions is this normal. How long does it last. Thank you.

So i was due yesterday, still only dilated to 1... mucus plug was lost today, ive been cramping, but they wont see me in L&D without consistant contractions... any suggestions to get this baby going?!

As a newly or should I say relatively newly diagnosed MSer I learned a valuable lesson when traveling this past two weeks for vacation. On my way to St. Martin I was stubborn, I walked three airports and arrived there grumpy hot and exhausted! The vacation was amazing and I handled the sun and heat very well. We did most of the walking and shopping stuff in the am and while I was on the beach most days for 8 hours or more it was okay.

Both nights I had a hard time sleeping especially last night, I woke up every hour due to the tremors that would not go away at all, it felt like the tremors from day 2. Well I learned my lesson, I cant put any substance in my body no mater what it is.

This is such a good post. It's so ingrained in us to isolate and pull away when we need to be reaching out and talking about what we are going through and how we are feeling. As soon as I finished, I went to was my genitals with soap and water. I have never been this scared in my life. I can't eat, or sleep, because i'm so worried. about a week after incident, i suddenly, very suddenly, caught a cold, i started sneezing like crazy, throat became scratchy, and had a productive cough with congestion. Any ideas on how to lesson the episodes?

I should clarify that the pain doesn't go away until it is done. It may lesson a bit, but I will have constant cramps for 30 minutes to an hour. Midwife said if it was contractions I wouldn't feel pain in between.

t in labor as there were no rooms available and I had to sit on the labor and delivery floor waiting room for almost an hour before a room opened up. Frustrating. However, it turned out OK- baby looked great and I had a few contractions and lots of uterine irritability on the monitors but I got to go home so yeah! Hope you are all feeling good and staying on your feet!! LOL!
