pls help me know the maximum period of twin pregnancy..som says 34 weeks nd som says 36 nd evn 38 is gud...ny idea?

I was so afraid of having my twins early because my mom had me and my twin sister at 32 weeks. My aunt had her twins at 28 weeks. And anyone else i knew had theres early. But im currently 36weeks and 2days with twins (: and have a scheduled c-section for September 30th.

I'm 31 weeks with mono di boys and doing pretty good. I've had no complications so far. I am starting to feel some contractions every evening, but nothing painful or often enough to worry about. the weight gain is hard! my knees and ankles feel like they could break and my lungs feel like they are being crushed cause there is just no room. I'm normally a 130 pound, 5'2 woman so adding 50 pounds to my middle is rough!

Or just how you felt early on? My grandmother is a twin and my mother in law is also a twin. This is my second pregnancy, hubby and I are concerned about twins this time.

But tonight me and my fiance are arguing and I'm getting nauseas and having some pain in my lower stomach area. Should I call my o.b or wait and time the pains.... Absolutely not. Although it does run in families, you do not have to have twins in your family at all and you could still have twins...especially fraternal twins.

Hello girls, I now almost 32 weeks with my twin girls and have come in and out of the hospital several times in the last 7 weeks. I started having cramping two nights ago and came to the hospital 100 percent effaced and 3 cm dilated..They took me off procardia xl 30 mg and put me on indocine... I read read terrible things about indocine being a category c medicine and can cause heart problems in the last 2 months of pregnant. Do you think I should refuse to take it now?

My doctor is giving me appts every 4 weeks instead of every 2 like I was hoping so its a long wait in between. I didn't worry when it was just one... but now that its two its so much more of a worry! Congrats on the boy and girl btw!

It could Braxton hicks contractions but you should talk to your Dr. I started having contractions really bad if I am active at about 22weeks with this pregnancy and went to the hospital and found out I have a irritable uterus and have to be very careful with what I am doing. I am on restricted activities. It's best to be safe call or go in.

re full term or not because they may fair better in NICU than in the womb at that point.

56 a.m and I just got in from the hospital. At 11p.m I had some spotting (like a light period which settled by 2:00a.m) The ultrasound showed the twins and their lil heart beats flickering away. We've just gotta face it that our pregnancies w/twins are going to be more enhanced than with singletons. Hang in there She11y!! Here if you need me.

Are you having identical or ferternal? Ferternal twins have there own placentas and usually dont take from each other until later in the pregnancy. Later on there placentas can fuse together ,thats what mine did. Also with ferternal twins you could of gotten prego on two different days wich would make one a little smaller. Mine were conceived four days apart and twin b was also smaller.

t actually indicate a twin pregnancy. Singleton pregnancies can have high levels as well. Only ultrasound will tell you.

t really gained much weight maybe 5pds any one else pregnant with twins or had a twin pregnancy already? What was it like and did you deliver vaginally or csection?

Had an US today and I am at 31 wks. Baby David weighed in at 3.5 lbs and Baby Reina at 2.15 lbs. My peri wants me to go in weekly for non stress test now because Reina's abdomen is a bit smaller than David's. She checked the amnio fluid and it was fine as was the movement. I was wondering if these measurements were about the same as the rest of you having twins at 31 wks?

I have lots of twins in the family and my doctor figured i was having twins as well so i was just going by that, but what baffles me is that at my ultrasound their were no sacs detected at all, probably doesn't help that i have no idea how far along i am

I knew a couple who had a twin pregnancy and during the 25th week the one twin started taking all the nutrients and the other twin didn't make it. :( but apparently vanishing twin is more common. Hopefully the one is just hiding. Are they gonna send you for more tests or just wait it out?

I have heard you can miscarry just one twin and still have a healthy pregnancy with the other. I went in at 8 weeks for some spotting but everything still looked fine both babies were moving around and heartbeats were good. They said the spotting could be caused from the placenta being right up on my uterus and just put me on pelvic rest. I don't have any more spotting now and my apt and ultrasound is tomorrow. I'll be 10 weeks and 5 days hoping everything is still going good.

Anyone pregnant with twins? Are there any symptoms that stand our from a single pregnancy? I'm only 5 weeks so I won't know yet if I'm having twins or not but I just get this feeling that I might and I have a long history of twins on my mom's side. I know every woman is different with pregnancies but are there any certain symptoms or things that can help tell if you're pregnant with twins or not?

What I was curious about is how soon after a show does labour start and or if this is rightly so a show lol, I never had one with my twin pregnancy so it all new to me ,,, I understand it varies , just curious to hear others experience on this xx
