ve been having the exact same thing! Last night I thought I was in labor because I had the pain in my.lower back! And not to mention so much pressure down there omg! I have a doctors appointment.tomorrow so I might ask my doctor. I hope its lab or she needs to get out lol.

My first time I dogs not feel contractions and my water broke at night at the same time I heard to use the bathroom. I honestly could not tell the difference between the 2. The only way I knew was undies kept getting wet and yep sure enough it was time at 38 weeks and 6 days. Good luck! Congrats!

How far on are you.... "real" contractions should be regular, timeable, should increase in intensity and frequency. "false" contractions may vary in strength - ie some might hurt bad, others may be mildly uncomfortable. Some may come at regular intervals ie 5 every 10 min then a longer gap til next one etc. my midwife akways recommends taking two paracetamol, having a hot bath, something cold to drink and lying down on your left side.

) I was hooked up to a machine that measured babys heartbeat and my contractions, contractions were minimal but not enough to do anything about so I've been sent home to monitor them, they are definitely stronger than last night so will just have to wait and see!

I was the same but my baby is okay and healthy I've heard that it actually affects them that early on. Your dr would've told you by now if they see something really wrong going on with your baby.

Since I started with purified water in June 2014, when I started treating, I have gotten to where even spring water tastes too salty or something, for me, so we keep purified water in the house. You can get it in bottles at Wal*Mart, etc., or in gallon jugs at the grocery story, or anywhere gallons of water are sold. I prefer it at room temperature, but you can keep it in the fridge or put over ice.

i am diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.they caught it early but tomorrow i go in for a month stay at the hospital for chemo.i'm told treatments nowadays are not the bad anymore ..but will i lose my hair ,get sick.i noticed my teeth already staining some.is this from the illness..what can i expect......................

I will be 37weeks Mon and I have been going through the same thing I feel your pain but until the contractions are 1 min long 5 min apart for an hour I wouldent stress on it !!!

What I did was sit down on the couch with paper and a clock (with a seconds hand). You time the contractions from the beginning of one contraction to the beginning of the next. If they are 5-7 minutes apart for an hour and moving around does not get them to stop, you should go to the hospital. Call and talk to someone before you rush out, though.

Also!! I have noticed that my Boobs hurt more now they never did in the beginning my nipples are sore.

For the past few days I've been having a cramping feeling and a sharp pain in my cervix. I've also been getting braxton Hicks but they're not painful, just a little uncomfortable and I've had lower back pain off and on. Could this be the beginning stages of labor?

I am only in my first trimester as a first time momma to be, but I also happen to be a labor and delivery nurse with over 2 years of experience. As your baby becomes more engaged into your pelvis, your hips have to open up more to accommodate that sweet fuzz covered head! Your body is even releasing a hormone called relaxin to help the joint of the pelvis open up. My best advice is warm showers, lots of water (at LEAST 8 ounces every hour you are awake) and sitting/bouncing on a birthing ball!

Dilated to a 7, almost 8. Started at a 5-6 in the beginning. Slowly progressing.

Hey ladies. I just wanna say if you feel something is not right go in and get checked out. I was having a lot of pressure Tuesday night around 11:30pm and came into L&D to be checked. I felt like crap that entire day and something just felt wrong. By the time I got to the hospital I was shaking really bad. They checked me in, I wasn't having any contractions at the time. They checked my cervix, baby was really low and they said I was 1cm dilated I was scared to death.

Did they give you meds to stop the contractions and keep baby in there?? Hoping all goes well mama! Goood luck!

One that repeatedly, frequently appears in the same spot would count. Sometimes the damage to the nerve just barely shows up, but shows up best when the person is fatigued, warm, stressed, moving around - whatever. These are sensory symptoms that are constant in their location, but just not constant in time. they would still count with most neuros. Of course, some neurologists are too rigid to allow for this kind of grayer area.

I'm 40 weeks and haven't have any Braxton hicks or contractions, so it's just up to your body.

Hi Amanda! Wow, I can't believe how fast this pregnancy seems to have been. I am sure it doesn't feel the same way to you LOL! Losing the mucus plug isn't the best sign of when to go into labor but if you do, your little man should do sooo well at over 34 weeks! When I was pregnant with baby #1, singleton pregnancy, my water broke when i was in bed and the mucus plug didn't even come out until I was in the hospital and I wasn't even 1/2 cm dilated!!!!

Hi, you can download an app that will keep track of contractions- you just press the button when one starts and then when it finishes. It will show you how long each contraction lasts and how long between them. The one I have is just called contraction timer :) I'm in week 37 too and also wanted to be prepared!

t sharp in the beginning but yeah, later on in early labor it was like what yours sounds like. Could be labor.

I just went to the bathroom to pee and when I wiped there was a little bit of brownish discharge.. Is this the beginning of labor?

Do they feel like bad period cramps in the beginning? Ive neen timing them n its every 5 min. Im scheduled to b induced at 5pm. Should I go in now?

Do you count them at the beginning to the beginning of the next or from the end of one to the beginning of the other?

Only they have been like 1-2 hrs apart..Is this the beginning of labor? Any way to make them more constant?
