contractions

Avatar f tn When you go into labor and have to fill out papers, do you right your babies name or tell them?
Avatar m tn Well, I did some research on Leukemia and Mycoplasmas. Wow! Seems there are quite a few articles about them. Most are before 90's. Even mentions Mycoplasma Hominis. That's one of the Gulf War Mycos that is a Lyme co-infection. These were NIH papers and citation papers.
Avatar f tn It is placed in your vagina to help thin your cervix amd can cause contractions. After 12 hours they will remove it and start the pitocen.
Avatar n tn I am going through my first cycle of IVF, and my partner and I would like to donate any "extra" embryos for stem cell research. Does anyone know who we donate them too? I can't find any info online. All I can find is embryo donation for people looking to have a baby, and though I find that a very nice thought, we are not comfortable with the idea that our child will have siblings out there that we don't know. Any info would be great. Thanks!

Avatar m tn Thanks for asking. I finished tx the end of January, 2005. So, I'm coming up on 3 years SVR. As far as attributing anything to occult, I'd be hard pressed to say that I can correlate any issues with it. Most of my post-tx stuff I attribute (rightly or wrongly) to the interferon. And I'm pretty well stuck now w/ the post-tx issues I've been carrying since treating.
Avatar f tn I have a job and other responsibilities like (1) teaching Microbiology and Immunology to 75 medical students every fall, (2) asking the NIH for more research funding ($$$) which is essential to move the HSV-2 vaccine research forward, (3) helping the people in my lab stay on track with the research, (4) writing all those boring papers of mine you can find in Pubmed which is the “blog” that really accounts, and (5) occasionally talking to my wife and kids in between activities 1 – 4.
10219953 tn?1426171839 Well I was informed thru another mom on here who had kaiser in northern CA I'm in southern CA that they can ties tubes thru the cervix 24 hr after labor. And her dr was suggesting it for her. I was told by my Dr I'm had to wait 6-8 weeks after labor to get it done. I also wanted to get an elective c section if it were possible so they could tie my tubes at once too but this dr was so vague on the whole visit that she wasn't helpful.
Avatar f tn There have been multiple research papers coming out regarding vaping is the key cause of dementia spreading in adolescents these days. But how about you smoke vape without any nicotine? 0%.
Avatar f tn And do you control who see down there and what not? And when you name your baby, your alone to write the papers or? Sorry first pregnancy and very curious if everything!
Avatar f tn I've done extensive reading on it and in my opinion it's not worth taking. Severeral research papers say that it gives you random contractions which is obviously no help to progressing your actual labor. Plus the risks that come with it.
Avatar f tn I don't want one at all unless it is absolutely medically necessary. Is it true I can sign papers saying I don't want one unless its an emergency? I don't want to be induced and I don't want pitocin or a cesarean.
Avatar f tn Being squeezed hard & punched in the stomach is not nothing close to contractions hun , do more research .
Avatar m tn George Eby has an 'institute' from which he sells remedies that will cure pretty much anything that ails you, and from which he self-publishes 'scientific' papers documenting his, ahem, research. Here is a link to one of these concerning taurine and the heart: http://george-eby-research.com/html/taurine.
Avatar f tn How exciting, I'm due April 2. Already scheduled for induction April 3rd just in case. I don't think mine wants to come out but I'm ready with eviction papers.
Avatar f tn my fiance has been diagnosed with fibro for the last year, in a LOT of pain each day and severe social anxiety and depression which he is getting therapy for.
Avatar n tn There are some Doctor told me, the antibody test might helpful to diagnose, the Focus Herprselect Elisa 1&2 was accurate, and I have read some papers written by Professor Morrow, these paper give me some information that the Herpeselect elisa test was perfect, but in my past point, the anti-body test to HSV was only suit to investigate of epidemic disease and unsuitble to clinic diagnose.
Avatar m tn We anticipate filing an IND in Q2 of 2013 and our plan is to conduct a phase 1 clinical trial in chronic HBV carriers to provide early proof of concept." http://www.marketwatch.

233488 tn?1310693103 However, it is not as easy as that as the problem with myopia research is funding I think. In general, where there is money available for research, scientists will swoop in and start working. They will abandon an area if funding becomes scarce. Most do not have an emotional connection to the research (sadly) and so will switch fields on a whim. It appears to me that this is exactly what has happened. On that note, I could never abandon diabetes research.
4193337 tn?1355698372 I have already been in the hospital to have contractions stopped once. Should I go in or am I just overreacting?
Avatar f tn Thank you for replying. I just received my reports and they said that mine is 1.1 x 0.9 x 1.3cm and it's located in the right side of the pons. As I was doing some research today I found out that the pons is only 2.5cm in length. A friend of mine (whose mother had an avm) said mine is extremely small and nothing to worry about??? I'm just a little confused I guess.
338416 tn?1420045702 I love looking at this stuff, though I can barely understand it. Take a look at each day and you'll see a brief summary of the papers to be presented at this conference. Wonderful information on OCT and MS, neuro-psychological testing, gray matter and MS, and so much more. I had to stop looking because I'm supposed to be working! http://registration.akm.ch/einsicht.php?
