I'm 32 weeks tomorrow and today started feeling pain in my pelvic area. If I just sit its not as bed, just feels like pressure but when I walk.. definitely walking up stairs.. it hurts. Does anyone know what it could be?

First off why did they say based on babys position you might go into labor in the next few weeks?
My first contractions felt like that. It came in my lower abdominal area, right above my pelvic bone. The only way I could even tell that's what it was was because my water had broken a couple hours prior to my first contraction. The first contractions aren't intense at all, but they do progress. If you practice relaxing your muscles from the very start, it makes labor so much more bearable. Labor never really got too hard to handle, the hard part was more not knowing how much longer.
I know that im supposed to time contractions and i know that its a tightening feeling in my pelvic area but what do they actually feel like because i have been having a sharp pain in my pelvic area that when the end of the pain is coming it feels like an electric shock that is painful inside and outside of my vagina then after its over it feels like im doing involuntary kegal exersizes. Is that a contraction or something i should ask my doctor? Please help.
They are totally different for everyone. Sometimes people say they feel like cramps others have said that they thought they were just having Braxton hicks but when they went into the dr they were havibg contractions every 5 minutes. For me, they started by feeling like an annoying poking pain in my abdomen and then got to feel crampy and just got more intdn.
ve been having cramps and some on and off pain in my lower right back side and front (pelvic area) I was wondering if you girls think this could be contractions ? When it happens I lay down or sit but it still hurts.. ill be 30 weeks this sat.
I woke up with a dull pain in my abdominal area at 2am this morning. I was concerned because it lasted a few minutes. I'm 20 weeks on Friday and im thinking it was round ligament pain? Anyone else had any pain that is achy almost like gas pains? Ive one only had pain one other time and it wasn't as painful.
I just really want to know what they feel like, my mom said its like a pressure in your pelvic area and my sister said hers were more in her back. How were your contractions, and how bad or severe are they?
the shooting pains go down the middle which my dic said was probably just the babys head pushing on my pelvic bone.
They are called lighting pain! This is due to the baby's head being in your pelvic bone area! I was told that if it's true contractions (cus I'm a ftm) no matter what you did you would not get any relief! I have my son do these lighting pains to me all the time....takes my breath away and some times makes me jump straight up in the air!
Okay and also when i walk i feel pain in my pelvic area i should def call doc.
I have been cramping really bad on and off all day and while I was out shopping I felt movement so low in my pelvic area and I had to lean forward a lil cause it was so uncomfortable and almost like im gonna pee myself. Since ive been home its been the same thing. Cramps, pelvic area, pressure! Anyone else with me on this?
I'm 32 weeks. I've been having so much pressure in my pelvic area and rectum area. It's been like this the last three days. I finally broke down and went to the hospital earlier today. My babies heartbeat was fine and I was dilated 1cm. They didn't seem too concerned about it. I'm just very uncomfortable and I just don't know what else to do. I feel like their taking my pain lightly and it could be something more serious.
