4 cm dilated contractions back to back and 90% effaced. But doctor says if I don't make dilation progress in two hrs she may discharge me and send me home to get "rest". My contractions are crazy strong and 2-3 min apart what rest could I possibly get at home ?!!!

Around 6pm, the pain got worse so we decided to come in. The contractions were constantly coming and lasting for a little over a minute. I was hooked up to the machine so the can monitor us and the contractions were 5 mins apart and strong. The doctor came in to check me and I was 100% effaced and 7cm dilated so they admitted me. The pain was unbeatable so I requested an epidural. I feel so much better and sm not feeling the contractions now. Sorry it is long.

Started having contractions at 5pm, water broke at 7pm and now in labor and delivery. They put me on pitocin. Didnt know contractions were going to hurt like this lol def needing an epidural. I thought I could do it natural until this. Will update when I have my baby boy :) 3 cm 70% effaced.

Today is labor day for me, im being induce and pitocin already started having non painful contractions ugh but im scared i wont make it natural labor, any tips moms out there who alrrady had baby ?

Im still in labor they have been trying to stop my contractions to try and keep him in a little longer but contractions keep coming back so im hoping it wont be long.

I hope he comes later today or tomorrow (1205 in the afternoon where I'm at) eekk!

Wait until contractions are 5 mins apart n head in. If you want to speed up the process sit on edge of yourbed n bounce or go for a long walk. Keep moving! It will help you progress fast n dilate as well :) good luck mama its ur time!

This time Im waiting until Im below 5 and in a crap ton of pain. So yea.. just wanted to tell someone I was in labor haha!

The contraction monitor is picking them up constantly and the nurse keeps asking did i feel it.

Well everyone I am officially in labor. I was sent home but they told me it wouldn't be much longer. My contractions are the right time apart just not strong enough and I'm dilating slow. So they told me to go home and shower and get as much rest as possible because I'm at the point that the contractions won't go away but just get worse.

So big news, yesterday I arrived in Labor and Delivery. Getting medication to help me dialate faster and to start my contractions. Hopefully by tonight or tomorrow the baby should here. Super anxious and happy!

Was this "random pain" in your right side? Just curious, I've been experiencing a sharp pain every once in a while and when I do my contractions start up.
