I would think it's referring to either premature atril beats (PACs) or premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). You would be getting 3 in a row to have a "triplet". Both of these are extremely common arrythmias and can be exacerbated by fatigue and stress.
Are you sure you understood them correctly? Is it possible your daughter has premature atrial contractions and not atrial fibrillation? I am not a doctor but I have not heard of afib described that way and atrial contractions are not a danger where afib could be due to possible blood clots. Does your daughter have an unusually high heart rate keeping in mind children's heart rates tend to be more elevated than adults.
My cardiologist suspects that I have premature heart contractions and he is recommending that I take this medicine. An echo and stress test showed no sign of heart disease. At the present I am wearing an event monitor. My symptoms are felt in my throat area and sometimes in my chest. WIthin the last six months my symptoms have increased from one a month to five to ten a month. I attribute the increase in symptoms to my heightened concerned for this condition.
This has happened to me many times. Because your heart rate is slower during sleep, there is the opportunity for your heart to throw more ectopics which trigger the svt. This is just a guess. It is horrible but I personally would rather have an attack at home. You should discuss this with your doctor. 208 is a very high heart rate.
D just to get checked out and turns out I was in pre labour at 26 weeks.. Regular contractions at around a 50 on the toco scale every couple of minutes. I'm on medication to stop the contractions, they have eased but not stopped, and I've been given a shot to develop bubs lungs. If They manage to stop the contractions ill be on light duties for work and must take medication the rest of my pregnancy.

Im waiting to see if the contractions start up again. Also I was concerned because everytime I had a contractions the babies heart rate would decelerate. And she also.diagnosed me with mild pre-clampsyia so my question is why would they allow me to go home. I'm worried about the baby. And about his heartrate. And aabout my blood pressure.
most women tend to only get sick once in transition but everyone is different and the cramping from contractions can put pressure on your stomach and make you sick. like the other person said she has had it as well.
I know people who have said that a PVC feels like a pause in their heart beat followed by a lump in their throat and sometimes nausea, a woozy feeling, lightheadedness, or a little bit of chest pressure. Usually docs dont worry about these unless they are happening regularly. Is that were the case, a doc would probably do an EKG and maybe want to monitor a persons heart rhythm for a day or two. Nothing to get to get excited about either way.

So I ended up in the emergency room last night due to baby nearly giving me a heart attack (not literally) and not moving much all day, hes usually VERY active day in day out. I have been having contractions and they registered on the monitor,all the doc said was "oh". I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow. Could this be pointing to early labor any time soon or earlier than expected? They were about half of the little chart on the paper.

5 cm my body was doing very very hard and very closely spaced contractions.... To the rate of 5 in 5 mins for more than 3 hours. As time went on my baby heart rate deselertated to dangerous levels. they chkd me and im a finger tip dilated with contractions 8 min apart.. ended up having to get an ekg done cause my heart rate is going up to high and they gave me an iv bc I cant hold food down..
the dangerous part in svt is similar to the danger of vt. your heart is beating so fast that the ventricles cannot fill with blood between contractions. Your blood pressure can plummet and you can faint or even die. In my case at 238 bpm my blood pressure was 0/0 and i passed out in my kitchen.
Have you seen a cardiologist about this? I would do so right away as any type of vt is potentially life threatening.
