I'm a freshman in high school and I just bought a book about college essays. I have yet to read it... been so busy with school work and whatnot.... Anyway, if anyone has any advice on college essays or any information, etc. please let me know!

What are some good way to start preparing now, as a freshman, for college? I'm going to look at some different colleges online and I'm about to read a book about college essays but I haven't had time to get with my guidance counselor to talk about it...

) I am usually ok when there is background noise going on. The essays I turn in sometimes look like an 8 year old wrote it with their foot because I can't stop my hands from shaking! So yes, I am in the same boat-but sadly have no great advice on how to deal with the issue.

- Going on from the above, essays scare me almost as much as exams do. If essays constitute a significant chunk of university, how on earth am I to get through it. - EXAMS. Come exam time I don’t get much sleep. And no, not because I’m too busy studying, but because I’m too busy having anxiety attacks at 4-5am over this exam. If I can’t handle this now, how on earth am I going to handle everything else that comes my way later on ?

Sorry, a bit of extra information in case its helpful. I do sit at a computer for many hours doing my college essays, watching movies, playing games etc. but I'm not sure its what causing it since the lines are straight up and down rather than horizontal. Also the lines are a bit indented as they fall slightly below the skin around them. I smoke Marlboro Smooths and live on a college diet :P lots of ramen, mac, pizza, etc. I also drink alot of soda to keep focus on my work. Thanks again.

I'm in college, but it always seems impossible and can barely make it through. I'm no lazy butt, my problem is…I have never been a good test taker or even a good writer. It's like test and essays are the only things that count, which stinks. I haven't been doing good with school because of it…and literally ALL confidence is down the drain. In HS, I used to get A and B's now I'm nearly failing.

I am in College Application Frenzy mode with my daughter. It didn't sink in that this is reality, and we are a bit late on tsetting up visits .............. luckily they are local but, YIKES! thyroid and other all behaving at the moment!

m on my second kid I hope I have a part time job soon when u turn in this application cause I want to buy stuff for my kids and I who knows after I pay for my books abd a car I probably won't have any money left from school

Any other moms in college ? I'm 36 weeks and its been a struggle . I'm always sleepy , my mind is always on other things and I find it very hard to focus now that Im pregnsnt , but I'm also motivated to get my degree for my daughter & I . Any other moms feeling like this ?

Omg, is it me or is being pregnant in college hard af? I'm 34 weeks and I be so tired and lazy, I sometimes don't feel like going to class. I'm trying to remain focused though but I have to admit this is pretty hard and I know its going to get even harder when my baby girl arrives. Sheesh!

I'm Doing All Online classes To Finish ... I'm Due In May! I'm A Sophomore In College Also And Only Have A Year Left Before A Degree!

My left eyeball actually feels swollen. It's not visible, but I touch it, and I feel the difference. I don't get a sharp pain at the top of it, but more like a bruise or a Charley Horse. Usually, I try to keep myself in the dark when that happened before, but now, I'm a freshman in college with essays and homework which demand light and the computer. I usually dull the screen, but lately, it has not been helping.

My MedHelp on my HTC phone and MedHelp on my computer are not syncing together. I have tried logging out on both then logging in and entering a meal and it's not showing up on the computer. And I tried staying logged in on both and entering. What do I do?
