Two hours pass and in a room with the door open and all and the doctor never comes. Close to closing time and I see most of the staff taking off. m nervous to go into labor with no one else around, but I figured if I do then I call the doctor and have them count my contractions and tell if/when to come in. You need a good physicial exam by a MD an internal medicine or general practice with lab work. you need to tell the doctor about this. you also need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist to be sure you don't have eye disease. Ideally your test should include a macular OCT and a formal visual field test. Serious disease of the cardi-vascular system, neurological system and eye need to be excluded.

It does sound like she has RLS. Interestingly a paper in this month's Sleep Medicine Journal published a paper that showed that even in patients with low to normal levels (15-75 ng/ml), treating with iron resulted in significant improvements. No that is not broken skin. The skin is healed over and is a barrier but it can not handle rough treatment because if you picked a "new" scab it can come off easily. open cuts are active bleeding ... blood ozzing out of it.

I was prescribed some pills but in the paper that came with my prescription it says it should not be used to prevent early labor! I'm so confused and don't think I should take them. but nope they checked me and I was 5 cm dilated and paper thin! With my first son I had contractions that the doctor said should have me dilated to a 10 but it never happened I ended up after 36 hours of contractions dilating me to a 2 had a c section. So yes you can have contractions real contractions without dilation. And if you have more than 5 an hour you are supposed to go to L&D and be monitored.

t even looked at my check in sheet as to why I was there or even bother checking me in. Once I told her than she wanted to act in a panic took me to l&d where I've been waiting the entire time.

How far along are you but my dr gave me a paper n it says to go in when there 5 mins apart lasting 1 minute long... or if my water breaks....

I check the paper EVERY single time. Its a good habit in my opinion so at least you're more aware of whats going on with your body.

I decided to put toilet paper in my undies and check back on it in a bit. I just checked and the toilet paper is a little damp but not wet or soaked. I decoded to smell the toilet paper to see if it smells of urine and it didn't but it did have a weird smell to it. I'm not sure if it's my amniotic fluid or if it is discharge. It has no obvious color and I'm not having contractions or none that I am Aware of.

You can get a pelvic exam and ultrasound dine to check for any internal damage. But as far as a paper goes my Dr usually has me come in after all bleeding has stopped. Here at Labor and Maternity because i had contractions since 10am til now every 5 mins apart, lower back pains, and streaks of blood in my urine and toilet paper. They checked my cervix and I'm only 1cm. They're keeping me here for 2 hours to monitor me again to see what happens. I wonder, how long will it take for me to increase in cm's? Pains are pretty bad now I can't imagine what it will be at 3 or 4cm!

D one night and they told me to wait until the contractions are unbearable and 5min apart, or if I fill a pad with blood. But.... My friend said her contractions never hurt that bad.
