Common Questions and Answers about Contractions how far apart
contractions
m 38 +2 and have absolutely no sign of labor apart from extreme fatigue! No contractions at all. Belly does get tense sometimes but I'm not even sure if that's BH? I was 1cm dilated last week I'm going back tomorrow to check, hoping to get some improvement. So ready, I'm so impatient!!!
I just called the hospital They told me to wait until the contractions are less than five minutes apart and associated with pain or my water breaks to go in
I have had 3 babies and pregnant with baby number 4 and with all 3 of my previous babies my contractions never got regular as far as 5 minutes apart or anything they would be sporadic. When i went to the hospital in labor with my last they werent even sure I was in labor because my contractions were inconsistent.
t told that most contractions start in the back then move to the front. Time them for how long they are lastin and howfarapart they are. Once they start coming ever 5-7 minutes call labor and delivery then most likely go into the hospital.
The time one starts to the time the next one starts is how farapart your contractions are and from start to finish of one contraction is how long they last.
Also try timing them because Braxton hicks are inconsistent which means they will not be back to back like contractions! Contractions can be timed up to 20 mins apart down to a minute apart! If it's 6-7 mins apart you need to go to labor and delivery!
Oh my, I've never felt anything like this before, they aren't exactly 5 minutes apart, but I'm in so much pain I barley check either way, my boyfriend won't wake up!
m back at the hospital I originally went for my ultrasound and non stress test and it seems I am having strong contractions 1-3 mins apart!! One of the other nurses came in to the room cause she seen my contractions and thought it was someone full term in labor!! My nurse is looking into what to do nxt. I'm so scared :/ I'm not dialated tho. She said the machine is showing strong and long contractions but I hardly feel them??
Howfar along are you? How often are you getting contractions? Are you talking about braxton hicks? Braxton hicks will feel like a tightening of your uterus like a big cramp. If you are having more then 6 braxton hicks in an hour you should call your doctor. It is perfectly normal to have braxton hicks threw out your second and third trimester. Are the contractions painful?
Howfarapart should ur contractions be? I have been having contractions every time I use bathroom and sometimes when I stand or walk around to much but my OB said that's normal. Well I am already 2 cm as of Monday but ten min ago when I used the bathroom I cramped for a min and then my back started to hurt bab for like 3-4 min. Is this a contraction?
