Yep that's how my contractions normally start. That's how I BBC an define my real ones from Braxton hicks because Braxton hicks start in my stomach but my real ones start as pain in my backs that gets worse and then it wraps around my uterus and my entire stomach hardens and hurts and then after awhile my stomach and uterus start to relax and the pain in my back slowly goes away until the next one happens.

Period like cramping is most likely contractions and as far as the spotting I'm really not sure to be honest

This is how contractions also feel but much much stronger and painful. Braxton hicks r very uncomfortable, but most can probably handle them unless u have 0 pain tolerance, which some do. If it becomes to intense I would go to e.r. or dr for precautionary check....I hope this helps.

Cailin, is he a "stickler" for grammar? Reason I ask is, I'm kind of a stickler for grammar, and table manners. I was raised in a home where perfect grammar was spoken, and formal table manners were used during meals, and it bothers me when boyfriends or my now husband have poor grammar or manners. Is that what you're talking about?

My due date is the 15 bit getting induced on the 9th cuz baby is too big. Gonna try a vaginal delivery either way. But I feel great.. maybe that's the problem.. no pain what so ever. I've been exercising throughout my entire pregnancy so I know that helped with the pain. I just finished a bike ride and waked for 15 min afterward and did squats with the bar and a kettle ball in hopes that contractions start.. it's been abt 40 min that I finished and still no contractions..

This is going to sound snobby but bad grammar - not horrific grammar, I can forgive people who are truly uneducated - but incorrect grammar written and spoken by people who think they're using good grammar flies all over me. Haha. Like, "This is a picture of Jim and I at the beach". Or "The zoo announces the arrival of two new giraffe's". "I was in a relationship for 3 years, but they turned out to be a cheater".

There appears to be a rash of hoax like questions here lately as is evidenced by poor grammar and misspelled words.I am not going to respond to them.There have also been redundant questions on Genital Warts which have been answered here NUMEROUS TIMES and the questions of oral cancer due to HPV which has been answered here NUMEROUS TIMESt and in the doctors forum.In fact the doctors have stated their rather tired of answering them and for ppl to READ THEIR RESPONSES in the archives....

Congratulations on being clean for 2 weeks!! We all understand how hard it is. Don't worry about your spelling and/or grammar, most of us can understand what your saying. The point of this forum is to have a support group while going through this hell. Keep up the good work, I wish I was as strong as you... I gave in and took a pill the other day... Hi, I am inducing tomorrow morning. But have been contracting a lot today with shorter intervals than 5 minutes. They aren't enough for me to feel like screaming inside but get are definitely hurting like period cramps and pressure points on my upper abdomen. Should I just wait until tomorrow to be admitted or just go in today?? I don't want to feel like this is a false alarm for myself and the doctors and I don't want to not go in today if it'll be risky for my baby.
