Yes in the beginning my son would freak out during contractions.

does your baby move during contractions? if not, that means its not a real contraction right?

ve been having, what I think anyway, Braxton Hicks. She kicks during them. And I was wondering if during real contractions if the baby will still kick. I'm so nervous for labor but so excited for my baby!

t think my babies moved around during contractions. . And during active labor they barely move at all. Natural labor does start out with minimally painful contractions far apart. Hope they get organized and becomes real labor for you!

Isn't the baby's movement supposed to decrease during real labor contractions? I'm 38+4. I've been having on and off contractions all day but nothing that has made me feel like I should go in. The last half hour they have really picked up an are getting a lot stronger but my baby is moving quite a bit. I thought when you were in labor they quiet down. I'm just trying to decide if I should go in or not.

If you are really worried go to labor & delivery next time the contractions start. Have you been checked to see if you've dilated any?

Back labor comes from when the baby is laying face up during labor instead of face down like they are supposed to.

Im not allowed to have sex without a condom anymore due to the fact it caused me to have contractions for 5 hours at 30 weeks. My doctor said the male hormone in the semen can bring on labor. So my suggestion is to start condoming up around 30 weeks. I'd like to save anyone from having 5 hours worth of contractions for no good reason. It wasn't fun, sunshine, and rainbows. lol It doesnt hurt the baby though.

Oxytocin (the hormone that makes you orgasm) is responsible for contractions when you go into labor. Practice contractions post orgasm are totally normal although not always comfortable! Drink some water and lay down for a while to relax them away.

Can your baby move during a contraction or while you are in labor? I'm not sure if I am having contractions or not. I feel like vomitting. I've had 2 contractions so far. If that's what they are. 1 of them was really painful and the other not so much. What makes me think contraction is my belly was hard like a rock. The thing is I feel my baby moving around. What do you all think? I'm 37 weeks and have no idea of dialation/progress.

Are there any signs to warn you that you will be going into labor soon other then contractions. I been feeling Braxton Hicks for about two months and I just want to if there's anything that Can give me a heads up.

When you start having contractions, can that mean you will go into labor soon or within a couple weeks? I'm 34 weeks, 35 Monday & I have been having what they called 'mild' contractions for the last week.. can I expect to go into real labor soon or no?

I never felt the period cramps while in labor. Everything I felt was in my lower back (back labor) it was terrible.

For me they started off feeling like a cramping/tensing feeling in my uterus, mostly at the bottom but definitely throughout. They typically start off mild & continue to build on themselves as labor progresses. There will be peaks & valley's: at the beginning of the contraction you start in the valley & then the pain will increase until it peaks & then you'll travel back down to the valley.

Contractions wont go away even if you sit up. I learned that when i went into labor. I went to the hospital and i was having them four mins apart but was dilated 3cm. I decided to go home and i came back that evening having contractions still but three mins apart.
