I did have trouble dilating but i was so tensed up and scared i couldnt relax i was all alone though too! Once i got my epi though it was pretty easy i started dilating when i was supposed to and i only for pushed for 27 mins about 4 contractions and my son came right out!
1454963 tn?1335295705 I only get these things during golf, cutting grass, exercise etc.. I recently started to get them during stressful situations. So I went back to the cardiologist and my family doctor and they put me on a Beta Blocker which really helps me calm down but I still get them during all the exercise activities that I mentioned above. I don’t want to do anything that I know causes these things but all the doctors keep telling me your fine stop worrying and live on.

Avatar f tn She vigorously weight trains and does cardio every day, and is in good health overall. Her resting hr varies between 43 and 93, and even during exercise it goes down to the 40s. She has had tests done but the doctors say her heart is strong and since she doesn't have symptoms, there is nothing to worry about. This does not seem normal to me.

Avatar n tn Typically it is just from hormones that causes the cramping, as the surge will cause contractions, making her period painful. Prevention is much better than management for pain. Exercise and eating healthy can help prevent menstrual cramps to a certain point, but won't always get rid of them.

Avatar f tn PACs are usually caused or worsened by some sort of adrenaline excess. Often it's easier to determine the reason for having PACs than having PVCs. If the PACs are caused by excess adrenaline or other stress hormones, they often respond to beta blockers. PVCs are more "50/50" if they respond to treatment. In some cases, beta blockers even make them worse.
Avatar m tn Yes, PACs are just like you describe. Annoying, but benign, and greatly increases with adrenaline. My "cure" was a combination of cognitive therapy, a little nonselective beta blockers and exercise. If I can say I'm cured, I'm still writing here ;) but they arent't there during exercise at least..
Avatar m tn The interval between them can vary, sometimes weeks and days can pass without one and on other occasions I get several a day. At times they also appear during exercise (I play soccer, run and do strength training 4-5 times weekly). I sometimes also find that my heart rate takes a long time to return to normal after exercise (90-100 1 hour after finishing workout). This scares me a lot. I have heard a lot about a disease called ARVD and I am afraid I might be suffering from this.
Avatar f tn Second, gokart racing will probably get your heart rate up, but mostly from the adrenaline rush, which may trigger arrhythmias. Having arrhythmias during this type of exercise is different from having arrhythmias while jogging or running. PVCs usually stay away or at least reduce in amount during aerobic exercise. PACs and supraventricular arrhythmias are far more likely to happen both with aerobic exercise and adrenaline rush.
Avatar n tn I desat during exercise. I actually had a stress test done on my doctor's advice after complaining of nausea, dizziness, & feeling generally ill during exercise. (I am in good shape, 40 yrs old, and have been exercising in some format nearly every day for years.) Anyway, the stress test showed that my heart is healthy but that I do desaturate during exercise (I have a normally low BP, but my diasolic went down to about 25).

Avatar n tn t know why you get PVCs during exercise. Are you sure they are PVCs? PVCs usually go away with exercise, but anxiety during exercise can really provoke them. Been there, though I had PACs. My cardiologist told me that young fit men could have wall thickness up to 13-14 mm before he defined it as hypertrophy.
