So i just lost my third strand of my mucus plug but this time it was the length of my palm and had a little bit of blood on it not a lot but a little it also feels like pressure in my lower abdomen near my pelvis i have had contractions but mine arnt painful should i go into the hospital or not yet??

So I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and sorry tmi, but I just went to the bathroom after having uncomfortable contractions and I had diarrhea, I have been having loose bowels for the past while but tonight it was way worse, is this a sign of labor? My doctor told me yesterday that since my milk has come in, not to stimulate because it can cause contractions, that cause dialation. I was loosing my mucus plug over a long course of time (like 2 weeks now) until a couple of minutes ago. I wiped and a huge chunk came out like the size of my palm. Today is my due date so could this mean babies coming soon?

please let your body induce labor on it's own...if your due date calculator is right you're only 32 weeks 6 days?? While yes babies can and do survive before 36 weeks quite frequently, you do not want to try to induce early labor unless your doctor has indicated a medical need to. You need to be at least 36 weeks before most doctors will allow you to continue delivery; in other words, most doctors will give you medicine to stop contractions even if you manage to start them this early.

Along with what battylady said, there are pressure points on your body that can cause you to have contractions. They must be trained to know which areas to avoid! I think it's great and it's so worth it but just be careful and enjoy!!

the baking soda test is when you put baking soda in your urine or vise versa.. i love all these wives tales... so far, i've got boy on needle test, girl on Chinese calculator and girl on baking soda test.

How true is the Chinese gender calculator? How many of u have tried it and it actually was or is true? I did about 8 tests and half said boy and half said girl. .... confused!
