ve got 3 days and I am just sick of going into the hospital having contractions just for them to become less painful or less frequent whilst I am there. Monday night I was having strong, painful contractions every 3 mins, went to the hospital and they had become a lot less painful and we're infrequent, sometimes 3 mins, sometimes 5. Absolute pain.
I want to hear about your labor stories. What happened before you went into labor? Did your water break, bad contractions, bad back pain etc? How long did the symptoms last before you actually went into the hospital? Did you do anything crazy or different that day to bring on labor? Tell me your stories! I'm sure other FTM would love to hear them as well!
It was my first so I wanted to wait and time the contractions before going to the hospital. My husband was out of country and I was staying at my brother's place. I told him I am having contractions and we may have to go to the hospital soon so he decided to stay up with me. We finally went ro the hospital at 5 am in the morning. I was checked there and sent home because I wasn't in "labour".
So I've herd so many pregnancy stories about taking a shower & getting pretty when ur having contractions & then go to the hospital & give birth. I wanna do that too bc I wanna get there clean & pretty lol but I'm wondering if anybody has done that when their water breaks??? Or just wen ur having contractions??
t get much sleep after. You will wake up once contractions are strong enough to go to the hospital. They aren't something you can miss.
m 35 weeks but due to the pain from the pushing I had to go to the hospital they monitor me and the baby and was saying I was having contractions hr later the contractions stop so they sent me home still having contractions and being in pain they didn't check me to see if I was dilated has anyone else been through this before
Time your contractions, they should be relatively close before going in, otherwise they may turn you away. If your water breaks,deffinately go in.
Whaaat? U might end up having the baby at your house! You're supposed to head to the hospital when you have regular contractions every 5 minutes!!! I would go to the hospital just to be safe, if they think you're not ready, they will send u back home.
At the hospital getting induced.. been here since before 7.. got hooked up and everything. I was contracting on my own. I didn't even feel them! They didn't even start the stuff to.induce me til 9:30. But its about 12:23 and I'm 3 cm and 80% affaced. And my contractions are between 1-3 mins and between the 60's 100 on the contraction scale and its not that bad..
I am currently having the same problem. I was told I'm in back labor or prelabor so far its been a week and no change in cervix. It doesn't sound weird at all infact its quite normal. I am also 1cm dilated and 50%effaced. I was told you can stay like that for days to weeks before theres a change. The tightening is contractions(i have no pain in the front either its all in my back). I was told to go back if it got worse, have bloody show, or if water breaks.
With my first child I hardly knew anything was going on went to sleep the night before. I got a call from my sister and then I gott up to go to the bathroom as I was walking there my water broke. I thought I peed myself. I waited for about an hour before calling the doctor and then I went in. Was in labor but I felt no contraactions until they put me on pitocin. Had my baby girl within 6 hours.
What's the exact number of minutes between contractions before going to the hospital?
The nurse said I was a trooper for holding out the whole time before going in cuz usually women go in to the hospital at 1-2 cm dilated and contractions further apart. My reason for waiting that long was, I didn't want to he sent home on a falsa alarm....lol. Needless to say, I delivered my son a few hrs later with an epidural of course.
30 at night in really bad pain n kept getting sick when going to bathroom or eating n they treated me like baby n told me to call doc next day n talk with her if she was in. My pain lasted 2 hrs n then I fell asleep.
Ive been feeling weird since yesterday and today ive been really crampy then it turned to contractions. Ive been having these off and on since 27 weeks but they never really hurt and would fade away if i sat down. Well i finally sat down and the contractions keep happenin, so i started timing them and they're every 5 mins about 45-55 seconds long. They hurt but more back pain then anything.
Felt nauseous all morning and finally threw up at 1. Tried taking a bath before I got sick but its not helping. I am still having contractions maybe 10 minutes apart. Some are stronger then others. I feel lots of pressure but water has not broke and I don't think I have lost my plug. I'm 38&3 weeks. I just can't get over this nauseous feeling...
