I do construction and currently 10 weeks and have done it since day 1. My question is, is it ok to be doing the heavy lifting, going up and down ladders all day. Power tools and all... ??

He put me on Pradaxa 150 mg 2X a day. Is there anyone on here who takes pradaxa/coumadin/other blood thinners who also has a family history of aneurysms? If so, did your doctor put you on a lower dose because of it? Aneurysms run in my family (father, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, uncle).

i felt i got stuck or i can say injected by a needle from a guy i was travelling with.he looked like a construction worker or something.after i got home i checked and i saw a red spot..but i didnt notice any fresh blood on the thsirt or on my body.what made me think he had injected me with some kind of needle was that when he got down and went a far distance he looked back to me as if he had done something.i m getting scared because of this incident.could hiv spread from this?

i know this is tough to answer cause everyone is different while tx but are some of you folks in construction...doing high work with power tools..building houses?? ...thanks....

EVERYTHING is jumbled together on these boards now,dog issues,wierd questions from other boards, no rhyme or reason anymore to giving answers.... or even to seeing questions related to a "dog" board someone SURE LOST THEIR WAY with putting this togther...

I was past 50 when pregnant and working on a house that was under renovation. I remember sticking down some carpet-protector film on a staircase and saying something to the painter about "with this pregnancy" bla bla bla, and he was totally stunned that I was pregnant. I heard him later saying to someone else "I didn't notice she was pregnant!" I liked the physical labor when pregs, it helped my body feel normal and kept me moving, all good in a pregnancy.

Okay so my boyfriend is in school right now for construction and said he wants to build her crib himself... I really dont know what to think of it. I trust him i know that he could do it but idk if that would exactly be the best option.. What do you ladies think? Would you let him do it or go out and just buy one from the store?

Hi All! We are getting ready to begin finishing my parent's basement into an apartment for myself. We will be doing most of the work ourselves mainly during weekends and will have someone coming in to work on the floor who will be using jackhammers for probably 2 days then put in two egress windows. We will have a plumber and electrician come in to work too. We will probably have people in for 6-7 days at once and then plumber and electrician do more later.

I particularly notice difficulty with speaking, searching for simple words, or names, some tiredness. Also, since beginning Metoprolol Tart, 50 mg.(probably 4 years ago) taken 2 times daily, I have had three episodes of severe nausea with vomiting coming on suddenly. When I went to ER my bp was in the area of 190/105. Most recent episode in mid-March. Fine the next day except for mild tiredness. ER doctors have diagnosed as either an anxiety attack, or most recently, Vertigo. B.P.

I personally would not use it in my eyes due to the very, very, low risk of aplastic anemia. However it is widely used in many countries and has approval by governental safety boards in those countries it is used in. You do have a legitimate concern. Please call your doctor and explain your concern and ask to be changed to another antibiotic in order to calm your anxiety.

I had a friend who dressed as a construction worker ( hard hat, neon safety vest) and she painted a stop sign on her tummy that said "caution BUMP" I thought it was super cute.

Thanks to all who work these boards! I'm a male. I received unprotected oral sex two weeks ago from a married female 35+ years old. I tested negative for gonorrhea and am waiting 4 more weeks for a syphilis test. I read that a lot of times syphilis goes unnoticed. Is this because the sores are in the anus or vagina? Am I likely to notice a syphilis sore on my penis due to unprotected oral? Thank you!!

Fairly new/ but seems to think in terms of efficacy and safety, it is a better choice. I was wondering if anyone has been using it. I worry about pml, I worry about cancer, I worry about everything! It’s why I had such a love affair with copaxone. Most natural. Latest mri had shown 4 new lesions/ mild progression. But noted overall disease burden is mild. I guess the argument is my doc wants to keep it that way. Any thoughts? Ty!! Andrea.

I've been dealing with anxiety for the past 5 years and for the most part; it's become manageable. However, I have had a lot of life changes the last 6 months with grad school finishing, new building construction, and the biggest change is a divorce I'm going through. My anxiety was under control for many months but in the last 1 1/2 to 2 weeks, it's gotten bad again. Like anxiety before I drive somewhere.

I am wondering if anyone has tried Zydis. I haven't heard much about it on these boards. I've gained enough weight on regular Zyprexa and wonder if anyone has had fewer side effects with Zydis.
