Avatar f tn id say if you have no complications like bleeding or spotting then doggie style is safe . I would say that the jumper or bouncy thing would be unsafe . if someone fell on you even a child could hurt the baby .
Avatar n tn I do construction and currently 10 weeks and have done it since day 1. My question is, is it ok to be doing the heavy lifting, going up and down ladders all day. Power tools and all... ??

Avatar f tn Lately Stardust has been following me everywhere. She is always in my lap or near me when I am home. She is sleeps next to me at night. It seems like she is trying to tell me something. Maybe she doesn't like the construction crew that is working on the building next door.
148588 tn?1465778809 economy, creating 20,000 direct construction and manufac-turing jobs and 119,000 indirect jobs. Cornell Global Labor Institute’s (GLI) analysis of the project has found that these numbers are unsubstantiated, and that the project will produce far fewer jobs than they claim. In fact, the construction of KXL may destroy more jobs than it creates." "KXL’s U.S. Project Budget is $3.3 billion, NOT $7 billion: TransCanada claims that KXL is a $7 billion project.
Avatar n tn Pus means there is an infection, and at this point I would see your doctor. You may have something embedded in your knee that you know nothing about, and until that is removed it will stay infected. A friend of mine woke up with extreme pain on one side of his stomach and when he went to the hospital they found a piece of metal embedded in his stomach. He was in construction years prior to this and still doesn't recall any incident where this could have happened.
Avatar n tn t unrolling right i flipped it over and put it on correctly, even though I was wearing protection I pulled out to be on the safe side. I didn't pre-*** before I put the condom on wrong. I also masturbated 2 times within 5 hours before we had sex and as a result we had sex for approximately an hour. 2) This friday when we had sex I was wearing a condom and got off early, I put on a second condom and started going again.
Avatar f tn Well, Im at work at the moment. There's a TON of construction noise outside. For some reason, I'm feeling... nauseous? A strange, vague sensation of nausea. I'm not quite sure where it came from. Is this normal for dysautonomia? I know I have NCS, but I didn't know noise could cause nausea, either. Has something like this happened to any of you?
757597 tn?1315801812 Hi Everybody....What are your ideas for Fall crafts? Childrens and Us "big" kids too.......
Avatar m tn You have come to the right place for medical advice however, this is the std community and although herpes fall into this category, this is not the right place to get a complete answer you seek. You can post this in the Herpes community but I will do my best to help you.
Avatar n tn after that, i got cut by a random glass shards, the next day, i went for a training run, i have to wear a tag and the safety pin that comes with it slip and prick into me. so it's rather unlucky, i think it's not logical for me to get infected in any of this manner. however on a theoretical level, is it possible to get infected? if someone were to also fall before me within a very short amount of time, and i happen to fall on the same spot and get cuts but it, could i get infected?
Avatar f tn Make a complaint to the Environmental Protection enforcement office, for starters, in writing, certified mail. And an oral and e-mail complaint. Somewhere in the building is a work permit with a number for complaints. Find that permit. A letter from an attorney on letterhead to the construction company threatening a tort action will usually get action. And, of course a written complaint to your boss and the building manager. There is no reason for this to take place.
Avatar m tn With regards to asbestos exposure, he should discuss the situation with other employees, his employee health and safety representative, and his employers. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) can provide more information or make an inspection. This link may be helpful: http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/Risk/asbestos Take care and best regards.
233488 tn?1310693103 There is a major risk of eye injury in racquet sports and your husband MUST wear safety sports glasses for his tennis game. (I have seen eyes blinded from tennis injuries). Quite some time back a survey was taken of retina surgeons about letting their patients return to full activities after retinal detachment surgery (much more extensive than what your husband had).
Avatar n tn When exposed, they itch, and some flaking of skin around the spots. Turn noticably bright red when exposed to direct sun. In construction, work outdoors a lot. Also on upper arms, though not exposed to sun as much. 10 years ago was prescribed Carac cream (spelling?) to no avail, also very expensive. Also deal with some pigmentation loss on spots on back due to sweating (tropical acne it was called many years ago) used coal tar shampoo, didn't seem to help much.
Avatar m tn Workers comp. Is horrible. I used to work in construction, and have heard nothing but horror stories regarding workers compensation insurance. They make you fight for EVERYTHING regarding your care. If you have your own private health insurance, I would try and getthemto cover thing syou may need healthwise and let them fight workers comp. If that fails and you have your own insurance, I would "re-injure" myself at home.
Avatar m tn 1. When are condoms not effective in protecting against HIV? 2. Do I need to test for HIV even though we use protection? Appreciated.
Avatar m tn I will be doing a ton of flying over the next month (about 50,000 miles) and I want to be sure that, that much air travel will not impact condom safety due to air pressure, etc. If I do have sex I always use protection and want to make sure that significant air travel does not affect condom safety, but didn't know where to ask. There is little information online and I was hoping someone here might know. Anyone have an idea?
Avatar n tn Okay so my boyfriend is in school right now for construction and said he wants to build her crib himself... I really dont know what to think of it. I trust him i know that he could do it but idk if that would exactly be the best option.. What do you ladies think? Would you let him do it or go out and just buy one from the store?
Avatar f tn Hi ladies I need a few opinions. My bf&i have been together for a year now. About 6 or 7 months into our relationship we decided to stop using condoms. Both tested&everything was fine. However, before we did all of that we would always have discussions about our sex life&past sex life w others. However, he would always say stuff like he isn't worried about STDs and only ppl who sleep w other dirty ppl get STDs&to me that was alarming that he would think that.
Avatar m tn Well, I am guessing here, but my guess is you are in construction of some sort, either building construction or road construction. I know MN has two main seasons, winter and construction, especially road construction. I mention that because being able to work often depends on the type of work one does. Desk jobs and less physically demanding jobs are a lot easier to do on treatment than are physically highly demanding jobs or precision jobs.
