About a year ago I had a pop in my upper left abdomen with sharp pain, stomach swelled and it was hard to breathe. Pain still comes & goes from time to time as does the stomach swelling. Today while attempting to lay back in bath tub I had a painful pop again, in same area and now it is hard to breath again and I am experiencing constant pain. What is wrong with me????

Abdominal pain could be due to a number of different conditions.Not all abdominal pain lead to stomach cancer.
An upper GI endoscopy and ultrasound scan of abdomen may be helpful for initial evaluation of your abdominal pain.

Doesn't really sound like GERD in my opinion r/t symptoms. If this physician thinks it is GERD he/she could prescribe a PPI and see if you respond well.

I have this constant pressure fullness in my upper left abdomen, somewhat under ribs but not entirely. Pressure is their constantly and is worst after eating. Some foods make it entirely worst. After a heavy meal its a squeezing pressure almost and I can then feel it in my chest. With this pressure I get an itchy pressure in my throat. I been having this for years but now its getting unbearable. What could this be?
I have had an EDG,colonoscopy, ultrasound, bloodwork,MRI and Ct Scan and all test come back pretty normal, so now my doctor wants to call it IBS which I know is not it since my diarrhea is random and it does not relieve the constant pain in upper abdomen. If I come up with anything I will let you know also.

Hello! In October I had a burning pain under my breast bone and started burping after eating. Went to urgent care and doctor prescribed me omeprazole. Took it for two weeks and everything went away. The week of Thanksgiving the pain started to come back and then I had heartburn that lasted for 4 days. Back on the omeprazole. After a week and a half it didn't work so I went to the ER and they prescribed me protonix. I had an ultrasound of my upper GI and it showed nothing.
For the past few months I have woken up to a dull pain in the center of my upper abdomen which would subside after about ten minutes of me getting out of bed for the past couple of weeks the pain is there almost continuous my upper abdomen is swollen my stomach makes loud rumbling noises that goes up in to the left side of my chest area I get sharp pain between my shoulder blades and under my right shoulder blade I also have rib pain directly under both breasts which is a sharp pain when touched

Last November, I started getting violently sick with stomach pain, nausea, and extreme diarrhea. The abdomen pain is constant, but I have spells where it just hits me horribly. During a spell, I all of the sudden get hot, have terrible pain and have to run to the bathroom immediately. I can have diarrhea last between 30 minutes to several hours at a time. I go some much to the point it starts hurting to push anything. It is almost a stinging sensation.
I'm a 29 year old male and I was just curious if anyone knows. I've had a mild stomach pain for about a month and a half, it's always only in one location at a time but it travels from left to right to my upper abdomen. I would further investigate the stomach and upper digestive tract, which can result in left upper abdominal pain. This can be done with an upper endoscopy, which can exclude GERD, inflammation or an ulcer. REFLUX. WOULD THAT STAY IN ONE SPOT FOR 2 MONTHS? INFLAMMATION? WOULD THE ANTIBIOTIC TAKE CARE OF IT? WOULD IT BE IN ONE SPOT FOR 2 MONTHS? ULCER? WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THAT?
If negative, a colonoscopy can be performed to look for lower GI causes. WHAT COULD WE FIND IN A COLONSCOPY?
Today I’ve been experiencing a stabbing-like pain, only occasionally and usually instant, in my upper left abdomen about an inch or so down from my rib cage. This pain seems like it goes straight through me or around my side sometimes and too my back when it happens. I’ve felt somewhat of a dull ache in this spot for a while but just today, it’s started turning into stabbing like sensations. Any idea what this could be?
On the fifth day in the evening, when I just srtaed eating some food, I felt a quite strong, sharp-ish pain in my right-upper abdomen, which persisted through the evening. I havent taken any supplements since.
The next morning I woke up, with pain mostly gone. However, the pain flared up again in the evening, just as soon I had a meal - chicken/rice. The pain started spreading to the upper -left side of the abdomen as well, and from the on it has been more or less constant.
