I am 18 years old and last fall during Rugby season I had a concussion. I was out of conscious for around 4 minutes. And now yesterday I was snowboarding and fell multiple times on my head while not wearing a helmet. My head imideatly felt pain in the same spot of where I felt the pain during my concussion in rugby. Im not sure if I lost consciousness or not during one of the falls. And now I am starting the wrestling season I dont know if i should take this season off or not?
He has had severe headaches every day since I haPpened and even nausea a few times since then. Just wondering if he could have a concussion and if we should get it checked out...

Aside from headache, other symptoms noted are dizziness, lightheadedness, memory loss, nausea or vomiting, blurred vision and sensitivity to light, difficulty in concentrating or with balance. Loss of consciousness isn’t required for a diagnosis of concussion or post concussion syndrome. Post concussion syndrome occurs within first 7 to 10 days and until 3 months. Symptoms are variable including dizziness, fatigue, irritability, anxiety, insomnia, loss of concentration and memory, light and noise sensitivity, headache varying from a tension type to cluster headaches. You need to consult a neurologist immediately.
I am a concussion survivor. Could you get a concussion if your head stops suddenly from a fast movement?

I'm a wrestler in high school and everyonce in a while during a hard practice I start to have trouble breathing and I then I can't think and adventually break down if I stop wrestling I will feel light headed dizzy/loss of balance and my whole body tingling
Another time after a wrestling match I felt like I had a cold and I could stop sneezing and just did not feel good I'm not sure if these are related

s recommended anyone who knows they have hsv1 be on daily suppressive therapy during wrestling season and to avoid wrestling when obvious cold sores are present. I recommend talking to someone in charge to find out what their rules are where you are at.
Even the best blood tests for herpes still miss 1 out of every 10 hsv1 infections. Not real unusual to be + on one test and not another like you have been.
I got a concussion about 3 months ago at a cheer competition when a girl fell and elbowed me in the face. I didn’t get knocked unconscious but I blacked out for 3 or 4 seconds. Immediately after my performance I went to the athletic trainer who performed an assessment and asked what my symptoms were. Immediately I had a headache, I saw halos around lights, and I felt like I was in a dream state.
