Avatar n tn My biggest issue at this point was eye contact and being on zoom meetings all day - I’m in management. In fall 2020, I was told that my computer/screen time issues were due to the fact that I needed computer glasses. I got a pair of these and it substantially improved me being able to work on the computer - which is my whole job. At the end of 2020 and was able to go on a 2 week honeymoon in the rockies and west coast where I was outside everyday and it felt great.
20813707 tn?1519722158 Is it real to save on Zoom in-office whitening? Does anyone heard about the possibility to save on Zoom whitening by buying a special chip? Bleach Infiniter if I’m not mistaken. I’ve heard the rumors that it works. And there is a chance of using all remaining gel from a standard 2 patients kit to serve more patients. What do you think about it? Has anybody tried?
Avatar f tn Thank you! That is EXCELLENT to hear!!!!!!! I do see a new small tracking line by the dates, is that the zoom out feature??? I would recommend being able to actually zoom out on the original tracker. A zoom out feature, where you can also look Ahead on the actual tracker....so that you can see where you are supposed to be at certain times for your Goal line. For example, I have a goal line on mine that is too far down for me to see anymore.
Avatar n tn one week after concussion my 14 week malteese turns in circles all day what can this be.
Avatar f tn It is abundantly clear that in some cases concussions may result in seizures. That is not a "theory". It is a medical fact. It doesn't require "discussion". But not all concussions result in a seizure. There can be varying degrees of damage depending on the severity off the blow, where the impact takes place, and from resultant swelling, and if there is a delay in seeking medical attention. A "concussion" is not a "concussion".
Avatar f tn I am a concussion survivor. Could you get a concussion if your head stops suddenly from a fast movement? Yesterday I was in a hurry and running and pushed the door in front of me. It stopped abruptly which caused my body to stop too. Could this cause a concussion? I'm scared because I am recovering from a concussion already. Does it make me more prone to brain injury? Please, help me!
Avatar m tn Quickdraw, there's no reason to be rude. I have some ideas about perhaps what it might have been, and I hope you don't snap at me too. Additionally, I'm very curious about why, after all these years, it bothers you. It sounds to me that it might have been Alison Wonderland Syndrome, medically known as Todd's syndrome, which causes visual disturbances in children's brains. Probably caused by the aftermath of mono, which a child may not even realize they had.
Avatar f tn Sounds like you might have a concussion. A concussion is a mild brain injury caused by a knock or blow to the head or a sudden change in motion. See a doctor just in case.
Avatar n tn https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/post-concussion-syndrome/symptoms-causes/syc-20353352 Make sure to tell the doctor about all of the workouts you're doing, to make sure you're not perpetuating the problem by doing a specific exercise. Hope you start to improve!
Avatar n tn I have a very limited life as the result of Rezoom lenses, which were very heavily promoted by my doctor. I had surgery in both eyes one week apart, The surgery was in 2005. I haven't been able to see anything reliably since. My Dr. did "touch-up CKs" helped a little. You last posted that multi-focal IOLs were old technology...I would love to see normally again.. apparently there is massive scar tissue in one eye. Does this procedure make it a bad idea to explant?
Avatar f tn Could you please work on trying to make a "zoom out" feature on the trackers? For example, I am using a weight tracker right now and I cannot see how far away my goal is anymore, because I am too far above it on my current weight line. So I do not know how much weight I have to lose to get back on track. It would really help to have a way to zoom out, so I could see both of my current weight loss and weight goal lines. Could you PLEASE PLEASE come up with this feature!!!!
649848 tn?1534633700 I'm about the same weight as last week, in fact off by just .1 of a pound, which to me means the same. We have been cutting our sweets, but had a huge meal last night, so probably that .1 represents a slightly bigger loss. I'll check in the morning. Thanksgiving here will be just me, hubby and son, we'll Zoom with everyone else.
365714 tn?1292199108 So you got a cheap camera. It only zooms 4x, if it zooms at all. No need to let that stop you from taking a decent macro (close up) shot of something like a flower or bug. Or you have an "ultra zoom" camera and want just a little more "zoom". Holding a magnifying lens is a great way to have fun, learn something, and get good results. Let's see what you can do with this neat little trick.
Avatar f tn If not in person, then there are probably still Zoom groups one can attend. (Check DBSA.) During pandemic a lot of in person groups changed to Zoom groups, and some of the Zoom groups are still going. I've had years where I was really bad off, and mind wasn't functioning very well. I couldn't even drive it was so bad. Freeways everything was happening too fast.
Avatar f tn As a a positive side effect, I have also noticed that things seem to be moving in slow motion some times. In other words, I see things much quicker and my reflexes have improved. Is this normal ?
Avatar m tn A doctor generally looks for focal neurological or generalized neurological symptoms that would show there is a pressure on brain somewhere. In absence of these symptoms and based on the history a diagnosis of concussion is given. If concussion is severe, and there is underlying brain injury, then yes, even death can occur. Hope this helps! Take care!
4067211 tn?1357345534 ) I went at 10 weeks and 4 days I could see the baby it was small but they can zoom in and it looks like a baby but with little arms and little legs lol. You can see and hear the heart beat its truly beautiful.
Avatar m tn My doctor said the same thing, it was do to the concussion and that I would be fine. I read in one of your post that your daughter was said to have Post-Concussion Syndrome after a head injury. I do not know how long ago that was but if you looked up what the doctor was talking about like I do when my kids health is involved. You might of seen that the syndrome can sometimes last over a year in some cases. As for epilepsy, I have it.
317019 tn?1532965586 Can you stand a little further back and zoom in? Don't get right on top of it and then zoom. Can you scan it?
Avatar n tn I have a serious concussion and I have strained my trapiuses muscle... I also have osgood schlatters in one leg and I can't run with out getting dizzy due to the concussion... I really need to work out ... I have been out for a month ... Please and thank you !
Avatar m tn I was involve in a very bad car accident 02/10 and have no memory of the actual wreck. the hospital deemed I have a severe concussion and then also diagnosed me with Post Concussion Syndrome. I am currently also experiencing back and neck problems as well as getting a collarbone checked out for a possible fracture. My question is does coffee effect concussion and PCS recovery. And how long does recovery generally take.
Avatar f tn Loss of consciousness isn’t required for a diagnosis of concussion or post concussion syndrome. Post concussion syndrome occurs within first 7 to 10 days and until 3 months. Symptoms are variable including dizziness, fatigue, irritability, anxiety, insomnia, loss of concentration and memory, light and noise sensitivity, headache varying from a tension type to cluster headaches. You need to consult a neurologist immediately.
