Circling can indicate a stroke, and since there was a head injury, it could mean there is bleeding somewhere in the brain or a bloodclot as a result of the injury that caused the concussion. Chances are, in a very young dog like this, as long as the problem is caught and managed there will be no serious permanent damage, but the circling at this stage of the game is definitely cause for concern. It is abundantly clear that in some cases concussions may result in seizures. That is not a "theory". It is a medical fact. It doesn't require "discussion". But not all concussions result in a seizure. There can be varying degrees of damage depending on the severity off the blow, where the impact takes place, and from resultant swelling, and if there is a delay in seeking medical attention. A "concussion" is not a "concussion".
It certainly sounds like a head injury to me. The good side of this is, she's young, and minor head injuries in young people can heal better than in adults.
You need to have her see a head injury therapist. There are cognitive things she can do to improve her behaviors and memory.

Often we never know why one has anxiety, but with therapy (especially at a young age) you can nip this in the bud so that it doesn't become a lifelong problem for them. It's wonderful that you recognize there is a problem, but sometimes it takes someone specilaized in the field to help. Talking to them let's them know you understand and care which is a big help, but may not be enough. I wish you all the best, it's tough when it's our child having problems. Take care.
My doctor said the same thing, it was do to the concussion and that I would be fine. I read in one of your post that your daughter was said to have Post-Concussion Syndrome after a head injury. I do not know how long ago that was but if you looked up what the doctor was talking about like I do when my kids health is involved. You might of seen that the syndrome can sometimes last over a year in some cases.
As for epilepsy, I have it.
Obviously it would have been don't take the antidepressant, but you can't go back and undo that. But the teen was put on it for a reason, and many people with mental illness get worse over time if they don't fix it in therapy or find a med that actually works, which is hard. As for the concussion, it wouldn't hurt, it seems to me, to find a neurologist who can test for post-concussion problems.

So, for the past few years, I haven't been feeling very well the second I get in a car. I have had this feeling ever since my concussion in 2011. My head just gets an unexplainable feeling, like my brain is just... numb? I don't get lightheaded or feel like I'm going to pass out, but I do feel like I'm going to throw up. I have done tons of research on it, but have not found anything.
Ouch! Did they get a goose egg from that? Broken skin? I think you 'could' take her to the doctor as concussions happen. I know that my kids in sports have each Fall a baseline concussion test. This then can be checked for the full year if there is any sort of injury to see if it is a concussion. Otherwise, you have to look for symptoms. This article you can copy and paste has a lot of info related to concussions.
I think it is young. But I'm 21 and about to have my second kid. And I feel to young. But I try and look at it as, we will be able to be with our babies even longer and grow up with them.
So try not to feel like you're being judged. Look at it as a good thing that happen. Specially if you can support them or have help.
Hannah is an extremely bright, creative, athletic and sweet young lady, who did not have any of these symptoms prior to her April 2011 concussion. We live in Ohio and are trying to find the best Chiari expert in our area. We will travel if necessary. Any help you can give us will be greatly appreciated.

I am not a parent that lives thier life through thier kids eyes. I have never pushed any of my kids into sports. The only thing that I did do was to make them finish whatever they started. He lives and breathes football. He is already training for next year. I just hope that he can handle the news and that I can find the correct way to inform him. He has an appointment with the Ped Surgeon coming up and I guess we will see what occurs from this.
Prior to the surgery we were a loving couple, married 14 yrs, raised my two kids and her two kids. After the surgery there was a total emotional disconnect from me. Upon her return home, I bent over backwards to assist her with her rehab, I offered encouragement, modifying the house to make basic tasks easier, I did all cleaning, laundry, cooking, shopping... etc.
She remains, to this day, totally disconnect from me emotionally.

Yesterday I was in a hurry and running and pushed the door in front of me. It stopped abruptly which caused my body to stop too. Could this cause a concussion? I'm scared because I am recovering from a concussion already. Does it make me more prone to brain injury?

I'm 21 years old I have an son he's 4 and pregnant with 2nd 31 weeks! I'm married (Jan 14) my husband is 25. You think I'm too young for marriage and kids? I know with my 1st just happened and I was turning 17 wen he was born with 2nd child we both wanted her. Ppl do judges us we don't really care because we are verry happy together and idk if we ever argued and we never broke up.! But I'm asking just what's in ur mind...
Sounds like you might have a concussion. A concussion is a mild brain injury caused by a knock or blow to the head or a sudden change in motion. See a doctor just in case.
I was 17 when I had my first born... she's 4 now. And I'm 11 weeks with my second. I'm 22... it was definitely a struggle being a teen mom... and yessssss I agree that alot of older mom's look down on us and act like we don't know what we are doing...
Anyone have their kids in the delivery room? I'm thinking about a vbac and letting my 4 year old be in the room obviously I'd have my mil there to take him out if needed. Any thoughts or advice??
I am a young 70 yo female with a history of concussion 2015. Having feeling of pressure in occipital area of my head for approx. 6 months. This occurs when I lay on my back or rest my head in the recliner putting pressure in that area and often interferes with sleep. I have no history of elevated B/P or migraines. Recent MRI without contrast revealed SVD with several punctate areas in the periventricular and subcortical white matter. My GP seems to think this is a normal progression for my age.
My cousins bf got vasectomy without telling her and she had wanted a second. It caused lots of isdues and eventual break up. But you are very young and may decide in 10 years to try for another and would still be young...tho one thing you could use to convince him is that when your 39 all your kids could be off to college and you guys still young and enjoying the house to yourself ;-). I have a history of migrane headaches. I have been in three minor car accidents, kicked in the head by a horse, pinned in a trailer and run down on separate occasions. These have all resulted in mild/moderate concussion/contusion, bruised ribs, moderate concussion/contusion, respectively. I have had pneumonia. I have anemia for which I take a daily vitamin. The cause of the anemia has not been identified, and there was signs of an enlarging spleen.
On 3/16/10, my son (15 1/2) bent over to pick up a baseball & as he stood up & turned around was hit with an overthrown ball. He had an orbital fracture. His eye pressure after 1 1/2 months was finally down to 19 (60 was the highest) and inflammation is down. However, his pupil is still dilated, and ophthamologist feels that at this point, it is permanently blown.
How old is your son? Are these baby teeth or adult teeth? I wouldn't pull any adult teeth unless absolutely necessary. Yes, the wisdom teeth could potentially fill in that space but there are complications with that. As the wisdom teeth come in, they don't move sideways into the space but rather, they tilt in and lean in sideways which causes problems with the jaw bone.
The school I went to gave then sex talk in 5th grade. My older sister had. A friend who ended up pregnant in 6 grade. It starts young. I think it's 12 or 13 kids are having sex. Some girls are having babies at 14.
Is anyone scared of raising your child in this crazy generation? Especially if you're having a girl!? Where I am from, girls are having sex so young,.even in elementary school! And doing drugs in grade 9? Rediculous... I'm just praying we will raise our girl will be right and is smart enough to avoid those crowds. Some of the clothes these young girls wear too..so revealing and slutty looking! I remember climbing trees and playing sports all the way up until gr 10!

Make sure to tell the doctor about all of the workouts you're doing, to make sure you're not perpetuating the problem by doing a specific exercise. Hope you start to improve!
I`ve suffered from three concussion over the spand of a few months. The first two within week of each other and 2 months after a third. The last one was in August.
Since then I have been very cautious to not hit my head but lets face it it`s nearly impossible. Kids will soft balls around and balls outside. They will flail their arms and hit your head or just nick you. Someone will bump into you and make you fall back. YOu will pull on something and it will make you jolt.
