I had my head slammed 3 nights ago the back of my head on a brick wall.(back middle to bottom) I felt woosy and almost blacked out.. when I almost fell, someone smacked my left cheek hard and woke me up where it was not black anymore but I felt woosy and my head hurt badly. on and off my head has been hurting sometimes really badly and I get woosy where I almost fall asleep. How worried should I be and what could be wrong?!
m really foggy about most of the details of the later half of my night. My friend told me I hit the back of my head really hard on a concrete wall (more than once). I vaguely think I might remember the first hit, but I have no recollection of the next couple hours, apparently I literally could not walk on my own and I vomited about 20 times. I start to remember when I got home (somewhat) because I remember vomiting another five times.
3 days ago i was in a soccer game and i had got kicked in the head by my teamates foot. the next day at practice we were just kicking the ball around and i started to get disoreinted. i am seeing purple dots on the cieling and my eyes are dialated.2 days after i got kicked i started no being able to concentrate on anything. do you haveany ideas what it could be?

How are you? Were there other parts in your body that was affected (back, legs, etc).Tingling feet may be caused by possible nerve compression. If i t persists, have this evaluated further for proper management. Complete neurological examination will help determine if this is nerve associated or not. With regards to your improved reflexes, this may also be an effect of the concussion.

Sounds like you might have a concussion. A concussion is a mild brain injury caused by a knock or blow to the head or a sudden change in motion. See a doctor just in case.
The next day it wasnt bothering me too bad so I didnt go to the doctor to see if i did have a concussion. Well ever since that weekend, i have pressure headaches on the right side of my head. It hurts on the right side of my neck too and around my ear area, but this is on the right side not the left where i got hit. I've been trying to figure out what might be wrong or if it's just an allergy headache that i get everyday. I havent been to the doc yet, not sure if its serious enough..
Last Fall I was hit on the left side of my head by a metal ladder. It was not a hard hit but did break the skin and bled a little bit. Following this incident I found when I leaned over my head become sore. I thought that I might just be suffering the effect or a minor concussion. Now it is almost 8 months later and feel my head is not any better.

Since then, I've been tired, angry, irritable, expirienced mood swing and headaches. should I go to the doctor to check for a concussion?
re supposed to take it easy after a concussion and orgasm raises your BP and all. Most of my symptoms of the concussion have gone away, aside from double vision. Thoughts?
You need to go back to the Doctors. That does not sound right to me. You could have a brain bleed or severe bruising of the brain. Please don't mess with this. At our age we can't be too careful. Not that we are old or anything, just not 20.
Try to get to a doctor before going back to school. It could just be an aftermath of your concussion, but I would also recommend taking an advil when you get headaches until you can get checked out by your doc.
Was your ADD a result of the concussions effecting your executive function or did you have ADD prior? I ask because in the case of my son, he had no attention difficulties and although he had a temper, he had no sudden mood swings or irrational behavior until after the concussions which totally altered his demeanor. He is still recovering over a year later, but made progress. I may be reaching for excuses?
Hi, I fell from an 18-wheeler onto pavement, hitting my left shoulder and then, my back and my neck and head 'snapped'....I had 11 stitches to close the wound in the back of my head. That was 3 years ago, and I still have dizzy spells, (if I turn suddenly) and occasional vomitting. Trouble sleeping if i end up on the back of my head....
A neurologist noted, the 'cT-scan is normal'....
Back in February i passed out in my friends room and hit my head on his bed then on his floor. After that i been havin migraines all day everyday i feel like pressure is building up inside my head and i get tired an hour after i wake up n by 7 o'clock im ready to fall asleep. i talked to my mom n told her what was wrong with me but she dont believe me and wont take me to a doctor. My roommate said my eyes went wavy, not rolled to back of my head, and then i fell sideways and hit my head on our dishwasher. Dishwasher has a dent. So, since this incendient weird things have accrued. I believe i have tinnitus now, constant ringing in my ears, sometimes really really loud, sometimes can’t hear, and certain noises trigger it. My head after this was really strange. I had a big knot, and constant headache.
