That is not due to concussion. You should be seen by an Eye MD ophthalmologist for a medical eye exam.

The first day when i had Injury went to urgent care. they did concussion test( eye moving, ear, eye moving and dental) . in ER also they did same thing.

Have had eye floaters for 28 years and the eye doctor says my eyes are fine but I think it's something else, tired of having them and they are the same shape all the time, they never differ.

A more sever blow to eye will cause eye damage more than concussion. However if it was the forehead area then also blue black eye is a possibility. Concussion can occur if the forehead was hit hard. By now she must have settled down However is she has vision problems, headache, nausea etc then consult a doctor ASAP (maybe ER) Hope this helps. If has OD is optometrist and not what you need. An eye exam and a CT scan are two entirely different things and test for entirely different problems.

I'm not a doctor, but I am a fellow fibro sufferer. I'm sorry you've been having such a hard time and undergoing so much stress right now. Muscle twitches can and do occur with fibro, but they can and do also occur with stress, so, unfortunately, it's hard to say what might be causing the eye twitch.

You will need to see an ophthalmologist Eye MD to be sure you have not injured your eye or whether you have some new unrelated problem. Ask your family MD to refer you if you don't already have an ophthalmologist.

It feels like my right eye is working harder than the left. During exercise with elevated heart rate my right eye feels as there's an increase in eye pressure in the right eye. Up till this point, I've seen my general physician and a neuropsychologist. Should I be seeking an ophthalmologist as well?

I was involved in a car accident exactly 3 weeks ago. I was hit HARD from behind, then my car ran into the vehicle in front of me. I was diagnosed with cervical strain, but followed up with my primary MD because my head hurt so bad I could not hold it up. He ordered a CT of my head which came back normal, as well as giving me a prescription of Percocet.

'm a 27 year old male and I hit the back of my head on the wall over a month ago. I hit it twice in a row out of anger, and afterward I experienced neck/head ache as well as extreme tiredness. m having increasing pressure in my head. Especially on left side above eye where I hit my head. Vision changes in right eye. Tremors on right side body. Bad tremors. Neurologist said the radiologist that wrote the report made a typographical error. Should of said No evidence of stroke. ??? Then why the problems. ? May have a long term untreated sinusitis infection. Took antibiotics. Didn't help. Wondering if I have meningitis? Don't I need a spinal tap?

I also had a slight eye twitch which has stopped. Im just wondering what it could be and if i should still go to the doctor. Thankyou for your advice.

I went to the eye doctor last year and they told me I had lattice degeneration and the doctor told me that if I get a concussion I could lose my sight but I don't believe that. I went to the doctor again in January and they told me it hasn't gotten worse. The doctors said I couldn't play basketball. I haven't ever gotten a concussion while playing basketball. Sadly, I'm the one giving concussions.

If you live in a large city with a university I would make an appointment with a neuro-ophthalmologist and make sure you have a peripheral visual field test. If you want to push with with local eye exam see an ophthalmologist that specializes in retina and vitreous.

Just a general and constant feeling of heaviness in my right eye/eye lid, which is not noticeable upon looking at my face. After a visit to an optometrist, I was told that my eyes were healthy (no pressure differences, infection, retina tears, etc). My question is, should I schedule an appointment to see an opthamologist? Do these symptoms warrant an opthamologist appointment? Or is there someone else I should be seeing?

He did not lose consciousness however had stitches and a week later was having headaches and eye pain. Concussion was diagnosed and CAT Scan was fine and eye specialist saw no damage. However it has been over 3 weeks and he is still having eye pain and headaches. What else can we do?

Both eyes respond to torchlight, but the injured eye(dilated eye) does not undilate fully. There are no signs of bone injury nor any swelling could be felt. She lay unconscious on the floor for a couple of minutes and then whenever anyone tried to talk to her she just couldnt keep eye contact with them and looked very confussed. She then attempted to vomit unsuccesfully many times before fading in and out of concsiousness. Is that concussion or is it more serious??

I suffered a concussion falling down my stairs in March of this year. I never hit my head but hit my tail bone hard. I immediately grabbed the back of my head. After a CT scan in ER they sent me home with concusssion. I have had a three hour nueropthamologist exam...didnt find a thing.

I get dizzy if i bend over too fast, reach down, and am developing pressure on my right eye. My hand-eye coordination never very good has gotten much worse. I will pick up an object and have it fall out of my hands. The lumps or lumps are getting much more painful. Most food tasts yucky. Can one get bumps just from stress? The tenderness extends from the back of my head, where I fell in the second concussion to my right temple. It is affecting my hearing as well.
