concussion and nose bleed

ve been nausous since, went to the hospital a bunch of times and was diagnosed with a concussion. They did a CT scan and everything seems normal. Same with neurological test (Where they ask you those weird questions) I'm worried that later on i'm going to have iternal bleeding randomly, or some kind of swelling that will permantly affect me. Will this go away soon by itself or do I have to worry about a random bleed or episode that could be life threatening?

i Went to a neurologist and he dignosed me with Post concussion syndrom. i hit my head pretty good, 1 the whip lash (i cant remember if i hit it on anything in my car) but as i was exiting to see what he did i smacked it on the metal bar getting out and then when the paramedic arrived i was laying in my car as they got me out the car he was holding my neck up right and i smacked it again on the metal bar getting out the car again.

A doctor generally looks for focal neurological or generalized neurological symptoms that would show there is a pressure on brain somewhere. In absence of these symptoms and based on the history a diagnosis of concussion is given. If concussion is severe, and there is underlying brain injury, then yes, even death can occur. However due to the circumstance I highly doubt what happened caused a concussion. I had a migraine while training at a martial arts gym and when the migraine symptoms lasted for 3 weeks I was diagnosed with concussion. The reason I do not think it is a concussion was because the only thing that could have caused it was me falling forward and stopping myself with my arms and it sort of jolted my body.

Probably you had a concussion and having Post Concussion effects. You can consult a Neuro-Otologist and Neurologist and see if you have any inner ear issues. Reason for dizziness can be very many. Get an MRI done to be safe.

Am I out of the woods of fearing of a brain bleed? I’m hoping this was just a concussion and that my head will heal completely with no long term, permanent complications. I have been talking with a nurse practitioner that focused in neurology because I can’t get into the doctor right yet. She said she doesn’t seem too worried about it, but keep monitoring for another 1.5 weeks or so. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hello ladies, I don't have my appointment with the ob/gyn until next week and I was wondering if any of you have nose bleed. I don't leak but I was cleaning (blowing) my nose and some blood (not very liquidy) came out. Has this happened to any of you?

What the heck today is the first time in my entire life that I have had a nose bleed! Its not dry or hot here in Texas right now and even if it was I have lived in this weather my whole life. Just thought it was so strange!
