I understand carvedilol helps prevent stiffening of the heart muscle and can help restore LV function to some degree. How specially, so it do this? What is the biochemical mechanism?

now if you take like 2mg xanax and 72mg Concerta and feel focused, motivated without anxiety f.e. that is sweet spot but a small ammount of alprazolam will overpower MPH and if it does you will need literally half bottle of Concerta, this is my experience and I say for mayority of other reports that i red in last 2 years so you are safe but take 1mg xanax more and no cleaning...

Hi folks, I took Concerta for 2 weeks and gave it up because of GI issues and a lot of facial twitching in addition to still having a lot of fatigue. I stopped taking it almost a week ago but I still have a remaining eye twitch that is driving me nuts.
Now I'm thinking the current twitch is likely unrelated to Concerta and may be MS related. If so, it is a new symptom for me and like most MS symptoms, I need relief.
Has anyone had any success getting rid of the twitches?
It would really be a good idea to go to school and watch and see what is happening. Other kids could be teasing him into this kind of action. In fact, the more I think about it. You could be right. If the med is working for him in the morning then it also should be doing so in the after noon. It usually is good for 8 hours or so.
This is because Ritalin and other stimulant ADD drugs (Concerta, Adderall, Vyvanse, Dexadrine, etc) work on the dopamine system which is not only responsible for attention but pleasure, too. The drug has the same mechanism of action as cocaine and the result of long-term use is the same. The drug works for a while and then the person develops a tolerance to the drug and more is needed to achieve the same result. Then the person cannot even feel pleasure without the drug.

My niece is 8 years old. An average, shy student. Trinity has a habit of chewing on almost anything and everything. From her clothes to her toys. None of her barbies have feet. She destroys everything we give her. She also has on numerous times cut her hair down to the scalp. She is very impulsive, but always remorseful.. I just started taking Concerta (36 mg) and I immediately developed shingles. My doctor swears it's a coincidence, but after seeing your post I can't help but wonder. I had chicken pox as a child, but I've never had shingles before now. What happened in your case? I went to the doctor today and got neurontin and valtrex, but the doctor told me to keep taking the Concerta. I don't know what to do.
He currently takes concerta and is doing pretty well in school. However, something happened today that frightens me. He was on recess with hid classmates. This includes his 6 year old brother. My 7yr old and one of his friends trapped my younger son behind the building. The friend was holding my younger sons arms back while my eldest child punched his own brother.

Can the Concerta be causing the side effect of the dialation to his eyes? I mean his eyes are almost completely black with a very thin line of blue around them. I checked his eyes this morning before he took his Concerta pill and his eyes were still dialated, but not as badly as after he takes the Concerta. Should I take him to an eye doctor or should I discuss this with his psychiatist (who prescribes his Concerta) first?
I started taking 18 mg of Concerta once daily about 2 weeks ago. Oddly I have noticed two things:
1) I can no longer have my daily/morning coffee without severe nausea (even the pharmacist didn't have it as one of his warnings).
2) Despite the fact that it keeps me awake to the point that daytime napping is not possible I still feel exhausted most of the time which doesn't make much sense to me.
Has anyone had anything like either of these things happen while they were taking it?
