concerta and energy drinks

I am 23 year old, recently diagnosed with adhd, and i am taking 18mg of Concerta. Lately, in the evenings, when i am reading,or focusing on computer screens, my eyes feel like they are vibrating, and my vision begins to shake. I am making an appointment with my doctor. But it might take time to get in. What is happening?

t have any personal experience with drinking and quitting energy drinks and I would suggest going to your doctor and picking his brain and getting checked out. Good for you for quitting them though and glad you're feeling better. Sometimes when we remove a habitually consumed substance from our body it takes a while for the body to recover, so it's either still recovering or you're just getting old (haha, kidding;p). Seriously, go see your doctor for some peace of mind.

I was just reading an article on energy drinks and did you know that some contain and ingredient that is extracted from bull semen.

You definitely shouldn't there's too much bad stuff in energy drinks and if you waited 35 weeks what's another 5..

Hey honey anyone is at risk of haveing a miscarage with or without energy drinks. I myself miscaraged late last year and Im not a fan of coffee tea or energy drinks. Nd bub was healthy when I dI one my 8 week skan nd miscarried at 12 weeks. Now I am 30 weeks with my 2nd.

Don't drink them! Your intake of caffeine is 200mg a day and thats just what they recommend it stays at. They would prefer you don't intake any. I am gulity of having a caffeinated pop here and there and I cant even begin to explain how bad I want a redbull, but I would just feel too guilty!

Energy drinks are soo horrible to drink and especially while your pregnant.

I have taken sips off my hubby's energy drinks here and there but they always make me sick to my stomach later on. Caffeine energized baby + stomach ache= very unhappy mommy!

Energy drinks aren't good for anyone in general! But if you want energy try green tea! Or the occasional coffee!

hi, concerta ,and stratara, and all the others my doc put me on didn't come close to adderall. focalin worked to but was costly. adderall leavels your brain, and lets you be yourself. the way your supose to be.

m still able to drink caffeine and energy drinks I also go to the gym and do crossfit training am I still able to do that

t got the energy to do things. This is the type of fatigue you are talking about and that I know quite well. I can sleep for 12-14 hours and still not have the energy to do anything. Probably the best way to explain this is that is is like you just finished running a marathon. You aren't sleepy, but you no longer have any energy left to do anything other than sit.

My 8 year old has ADD and is taking 36mg of concerta, it's helping with his attention problem but he can't fall asleep untill late at night which is driving us crazy! School will be starting again and i worry how difficult it will be for him to start his day. Does anyone know of a natural product for kids to help with sleep. Or anything else we could do!!

I have been taking Concerta for one year. This was to counteract the fatigue and sleepiness that I had been getting from taking Paxil for depression. Though Concertat was initially effective, it gradually became more of a detriment than help. It made me very irritable, unfocused, and moody. I have worked with my doctor to gradually phase concerta out from the 72m I was taking daily.
