I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!
I hate when Dr's an nurses tell you not to freak out because that just makes me freak out! Ugh I just wanna go home...
I had to go the hospital today to just get a check up since my doctor is out of town until next week. I'm 39 weeks today. My doctor had everything set up for me. The nurses were beyond rude to me. They were telling me they didn't know why my doctor would send me there and it was a waist of time. I had passed a few blood clots last night and my daughter hasn't really moved any the past few days. When I tired to tell the nurse, she wouldn't listen.
Tell her straight up. You can even let the nurses be the bad guy for you. Talk with them and they'll kick anyone out you don't want there. You are their patient.
So since I found out I was pregnant I've been looking on craigslist and eBay to help me find used baby things to buy for the baby, we're on a budget but I want to be able to get my baby what he needs without depending on other people and ever since I started doing that my bf has been complaining.
Momma is just sore and a few bumps and bruises. Any nurses out there work home health and how long did you work for before your due date? After this fall I'm afraid.
I just want to say that I LOVE my midwife she is awesome knows her stuff and always listens and helps with anything!! But I keep getting these student nurses they have all been nice and helpful but up til today she has been there with them and today she sent one in by herself!
There is to much of a stigma that exists . Im just in shock. I didnt think that Nurses where so prone to addiction. I didnt really think anything about how easy it was for her to get the drugs. I thought that maybe the people she worked for and with where informed enough about addiction that they would interveine before something like this happened.
I'm due in 12 days & I'm already 5cm dilated & 90% effaced & I've had some cramping & mild contractions. Dr & nurses don't think I'll go passed Friday, but we'll see, I hope they're right. Maybe labor or something will start soon for you, Good Luck!
Dr did lumbar puncture for menigititis , my son laid still for 2 hours afterward, upon being discharged, I dressed him , put his shoes on , and told him to go sit in chair from the bed, he gets down , walks like old man , all hunched over shuffling his feet , complaining of his back hurting, i called for nurse , who got the DR and they ordered a cat scan , where they found out he had a bulging disc in between l4 and l5 , RIGHT where they did the lumbar puncture.
We just concerned about this lady, because she was complaining all the time need to drive 1.5h to get to my home to do the job on weekend, and she talked wierd as well....
I myself didn't care how close my spouse was to their family or how much they wanted to b in the room. I just told the Dr n nurse I only wanted the father in there during delivery. Ur the one exposed n its up to u who u want in there. They might b mad at first but once the baby is there they won't care. I hope u decide what us right for u.

I went to a STD clinic and they looked at what I was complaining about and the first thing they told me was that it was not herpes, the doctors and nurses assured me that it wasn't herpes. My penis came in contact with a woman's buttocks (I don't think I came in contact with her anus, I did not penetrate the fold of her buttocks, and I think she might have had a thong on.
