My mother in law had a total hysterectomy on 7/13/09, they also removed her omentum. She has been complaining about beating feeling in her upper abdomen (some might describe it as a nervy feeling) She was diagnosed stage 3 with ovarian cancer, her colon had to have almost 8 inches removed but thankfully she didn't need a colostomy bag. Her appendix and lymph nodes were removed and were found unremarkable.

I live in a different country from where my in-laws live. My Mother-in-law keeps asking my husband for money. It is very tight for ud and I am helping in paining the rent, bills and all dort of stuff. I'm not a person who hates peopl, but she is really getting on my nerves. My husband is assuring me that I and the baby are his priority, but I feel that he is compassionate with her, which is not wrong.. Do you think I am being an evil person?

I suggest that you take some recipe with your mother in law and try cooking those dishes. Am sure he would love it.

I ordered mine yesterday and was so excited about being able to save some money that I was sharing the info with my mother-in-law. Well, she went off! Told me that because I get a free breast pump, that's the reason her insurance has increased from $1400/month to $2000/month. s primarily the one related to the problem mother who should solve it, not the daughter in law. See what your husband can do in talking to his mother. I know husbands aren't always great at understanding why we need space from their mothers, but her behavior will impact his life, too. Maybe he won't do it, but it's worth a shot.

My mother in law even tried to argue with me about me wanting to use pampers over Huggies and I simply had to just laugh it off like I didn't take it serious and not even answer her. They will treat you a whole new way from here on out. It's so crappy but it's true. Ugh.

Does anyone else have a mother in law who thinks its okay to post what the gender of your baby is before you or your husband have the chance to? Or post pictures of the baby's room before us too? And says it doesn't matter that she posted it because it only went out to her friends and not any of ours... and be mad at us for saying that it wasnt her place to have posted it yet and that she just wants to show her excitement for the baby and mad at us for not letting her.

Anybody elses mother in law driving them nuts? I've always thought of her to be so sweet. Sometimes she's too much for me. She has a lot of energy now. An every time she calls an I don't answer (she calls 3xs a week. Her conversations are like an hour+ long. An she talks over me.) But every time I don't answer she'll call my husband an keeps bugging him if I'm mad at her or if I'm okay. The first time I didn't answer I thought that was sweet.

Any of you guys in a tight situation living with your mother in law while pregnant? Any advice on how to be less irritated?

Ok I posted about this before asking if I should invite my mother in law to my shower well I broke down and put her name on the invitation well I just found out today that she calls my husband the 3rd and asks him to call our son and tell him happy birthday for her I have never done anything to this woman but I'm about to let the hormones fly and see how she likes it

we are expecting a baby due feb next year and i am sooo worried about having two mother in laws to please and pamper too they are such hard work, so controlling over my bf. lord help me. how do u deal with troublesome mother in laws??? i also dont want my child to be so confused and too be lied too like my poor bf was as i can see the affect its had on him.
