I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!
So since I found out I was pregnant I've been looking on craigslist and eBay to help me find used baby things to buy for the baby, we're on a budget but I want to be able to get my baby what he needs without depending on other people and ever since I started doing that my bf has been complaining.
I find it so cute that my husband talks into my belly button like a microphone to our baby girl and she always responds to him. Lol he can really get her going! She responds more to him than me. Anyone here have their baby respond more to your s/o more than you? I get a little jealous but find it so adorable!
They find it with a Doppler which is where they put the warm gel on your tummy and take this thing like a microphone type deal to hear heartbeat and you hear it thru the speaker. TaDa!
What kind of device are you using to communicate. Different devices have different microphone technology that could make a difference. If people still have land-lines they should report if it goes through that as well.

It started over 3 years ago when going towards the microphone my chest and neck muscles would tense, making it hard to get enough breath to sing. Im 15 weeks so far, and when they listened to the heart beat today, he positioned the microphone thing just below where my pants would button and boom, we heard the baby right away. So I know my baby is sitting low still, but im not sure where the placenta is.

How far are you? If you are not very far it might be harder to confirm whether its a cyst or pregnancy so maybe the tech had to have the doctor confirm it before he told you anything. Sometimes it can be a legal matter.
