937827 tn?1245257033 t know where to turn to for her. Sigh. BTW, I live in Italy...not real advanced here in the medical field, especially not the docs and dentists where i live) So...could she have TMJ problems? Do we get rid of the wisdom tooth first? Arrrgh...(I'm clenching my teeth over this).
Avatar m tn I graduated from College in May, but I had to stay in Los Angeles from May to July 4th and then from there I went to Italy in July. Then in July to October I went to St. Louis to see my family and Giuseppe followed me in December. He was feeling weakness and things got worse. He saw a Neurologist in Italy, St. Louis and in San Francisco …they all were inconsistent with what they said. For example, the Neurologist in Italy said that he has nothing, the neurologist in St.
541196 tn?1293552936 t feel a great connection with my first endocrinologist and I found another one in the area that is very friendly and thorough. She ordered lots of blood work and a thyroid sonogram. The blood work came back indicating I needed to have a MRI of pituitary gland with and without contrast, but she wanted me to check with insurance on it first. My insurance only covers it if the $2000 deductible has been met first!!!!
Avatar f tn Why not look in the UK, if you have a language problem in Italy.
Avatar m tn in this case maybe moving to italy or poland according to the closest country, in italy when you pay yourself you can have anything, doctors are only needed when you want free heathcare covered tests/visits but if you want a scientist with open mind covering from vit d to hbv treatments (also experimental ones) dr colombatto in italy is the best where to go, pisa is covered by ryanair so it is even cheap/easy to go there
Avatar f tn I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!

Avatar m tn Hey everyone, I have been suffering from light burning during urination, and a light (sometimes clear fluid, sometimes white fluid) drip from my penis for about 2 months now. I'm American but live in Italy and I'm having a very hard time getting efficient medical assistance. I've gone to the doctor twice and they've just written a perscription without giving a physical exam, which makes me think they could be making inaccurate diagnosis.
Avatar m tn My fatigue has come back which is common for this time of year. Sometimes the only thing to keep me awake is multiple trips outdoors where the cold air gives me a small burst of energy for some reason. Anyway, This time around the palms of my hands and the bottom of my feet have been hurting really bad. Also, the bottom of my feet are on fire! Like really hot!
Avatar n tn s father is a 70 year old man that has been diagnosed with bipolar disease 5 years ago. My husband and I live in Canada, but his family are all in Italy. His father is taking 450mg of lithium carbonate daily, and is a very large (overweight) man. He has recently been in a manic period of extreme energy, productivity (he tries), and has been extremely abusive verbally to his wife and daughters at home.
Avatar f tn It's October 2nd, it's still in the 100's here, and it doesn't show any signs of cooling down any time soon. I'm 28 weeks today. My friend and I took our kids to the pumpkin patch today and it was so hot. I was huffing and puffing and sweating more than a man and then I started to swell in my hands and feet. I'm soooo uncomfortable. I just want it to cool down. Anyone else in this position?
427279 tn?1210919821 My furkid has discovered, aftter living with us for the last year and a ahlf, that his favourite spot in the house, when he's not eating or sleeping, is the bathtub. He's become quite attached to it. LOL There are little muddy kitty prints in there, now, 'cause last time he was in there was right after coming in this morning with dirty feet, right after I'd had a shower.

Avatar n tn I've been dilated at a 6 since last Monday and baby is at station +1. Docs said they thought I would be back within 2 days to deliver because she is so low, and because I'm dilated so far. I wish she would come already! I had to stop working because they thought I wouldn't make it to the hospital in time to deliver...but LO is staying put. I'm burning up all my sick time and I feel just fine...it sounds crazy, but I wish I could go back to work until she arrives...

Business woman2 00am and took my pill each day at that time (there is a six-hour time difference in Italy). I am now back home and taking my pills again at 10:00pm. Am I covered by the birth control pills now immediately? Or should I use a backup method of birth control? Thank you.
1240706 tn?1331602111 I have not personally had experience with Down's Syndrome in my family. A friend of mine is a teacher who works with children with special needs. She had a picture on her facebook this week of one of her students (with Down's Syndrome) affectionately sitting with his arm around another student. Her caption was "Here's two of my special kids showing affection... if these two kids can show this kind of love and affection why can't we all get along? Special Education ROCKS!!
